Great retinol alternative!I love how bright my skin is with retinol, but I also hate how it also sheds my skin and gives me texture so frequently. I had done some research on Bachukiol and wanted to see if it was truly an alternative to retinol.I have been using it for months now and it truly gives me the same results as retinol without the skin pilling and texture! I add 3-4 drops to my evening moisturizer about twice a week, and that's all I need!! If I use more than that, it starts to make my skin textured, so easy does it. Please note, this is a concentrate, so you need to mix this in with your moisturizer, as it could be harsh directly applies to the skin on its own.There is a slight herb smell to it, almost similar to Thyme, but it's very slight. It is a very runny texture just like most serums, so I put the drops on my hand before my lotion. Otherwise it tends to drip off the top.This bottle is going to last me so long, so for the price its an amazing deal compared to how expensive true retinol is. 10/10

I create my own skincare recipes using a variety of oils, waxes & specialty ingredients then I handcraft/pour the entirety of my skincare routine Ito reusable glass jars/bottles/rollerball bottles/etc (which involves multiple different things, as I skin cycle) but this product is high quality & a great natural alternative to Retinol. I have noticed a difference in my fine lines, my skin has become soft, plump & glow-y. This is perfect for my DIY recipes!

Was using non-prescription strength retinol when a YouTube video referred me to this ingredient and this popped up on an Amazon search. Was experiencing decreased moisture and dull skin which I attributed to aging (52 yo).Then I changed the nighttime moisturizing routine with a couple drops of this, couple drops Vitamin E oil, followed with a couple drops of La Roche Posay B5 hyaluronic acid serum and a light amount of Korean snail moisturizer. Put each layer on separately in the order noted above. That did trick and addressed moisture and cellular turnover, brightening up the complexion and diminishing fine lines.And if you're in a really dry climate, one can put castor oil on top of it all. This I do in the wintertime. I have sensitive skin that can be prone to allergic reactions (dry itchy patches) so literally 2-3 drops is what I use which achieves the desired effect. Have not broken out using the protocol above and individual results do vary.Long story short. Figure out what works for your skin and play around with layering if a single product does not or no longer works for you. It's been nice that this combo works for my skin and I can see the results in the morning with consistent use.

This is great for gua sha, however, it is very oily and my hair sticks to it. It is suggested that Bakuchiol works like a lower strength of retinol. I think this would be a great additive to a moisturizer for those sensitive to retinol. Once again, for those who practice gua Sha, I can recommend this product for skin preparation.

This is worth the purchase. I use 2 drops in a mix with some other antioxidant serums. It’s hydrating and is supposed to work slightly differently than retinol but similar results in the anti aging department. I use it in addition on the nights I don’t use prescription retinol. I have been using twice a day for over a month and it has no irritation with it - super gentle

I cannot believe people are saying they don’t see a difference, that is actually kind of insane to me because I see a difference every single time I use it! It is clean, It is pure. I am all about clean beauty so when I found this and it has high percentage of bachuchiol in it I had to get it and it does exactly what it says, and it’s such a good price! If you guys want a good plant based retinol, I’m telling you, this is what you need to get

This oil works very well in my diy facial serum. I combine it with other ingredients that I researched for a custom blend that has helped me maintain a youthful appearance at a much lower price than store bought serums. The oil is hydrating without any stickiness. It absorbs well into my skin and leaves me with a nice glow.

It feels fine, no bad odors, supposedly this is the natural Botox…well we’ll see.
