Excellent option for ring light.
I must say, I am quite impressed with this light. I am replacing another phone ring light that clips to the phone but really I found was not all that great. With the one I am replacing, if you get too far from the phone, you might as well not even have it. This one is excellent.PROS - The light is bright enough to light the face quite well. You can see I am in a room that does not have the best lighting. This room does have overhead fluorescent lights but I deliberately did not use them so you can see how this works in poor lighting situations. Different light settings can soften the harshness of the light on the face. The portability makes it easy to carry with you. The phone holder works with my phone case on and seems to hold the phone firmly. I can angle the phone so that the reflections from the ring light do not show up in my glasses. The selfie included is taken with the portrait setting on my phone and is unedited. I think I was at least 18" (maybe even 24 inches) from the phone in this shot. I did crop it a bit which is the only edit but that does not change the light. The metal clip is very sturdy and holds everything in place. This is not going to be moving anywhere as you adjust the position of the light and the phone. The adjustable components are very sturdy and I can see them lasting for a long time. The parts are metal so I don't foresee this breaking under normal use.The ability to plug it into the USB on my laptop removes the worry about batteries running out. I can also plug this into my USB in the car and use it to record in the car (not driving of course) under low light situations which seems to be popular these days. The price is quite reasonable given the excellent quality of this light.CONS - None really. The one thing I would caution users about is clipping this to the lid of your laptop. The clip is quite strong and I would be concerned about the pressure it would put on the screen of the laptop. It can be clipped to a table or the edge of a shelf on the desk as you can see I did. It is USB so you need to be able to plug it into a USB source to power it. If you use it in the car (which I have not tried yet) you could clip it to the steering wheel.I have a Mac book I use at home which has no USB but I have the adapters that came with it. I am not foreseeing an issue with the Mab book being able to power this light but I just got it and don't have my adapter with me. I will update you when I can connect it to the Mac book. Even so, we have another laptop at home so I can use it with that if I needed to.Altogether, I would recommend this light and I plan to order another one so I can keep one in my office and one at home.

Useful
Very useful stuff, could be using by both Selfie and Lamp, also nice pricing with it.

Multiple brightness and warmth levels
Best feature of this light is the customization. There are 10 levels of brightness, and 3 warmth settings, from a warm yellow hue, white, and a cooler bluish hue. Some possible downsides are I wish that the holder can be used for tablets. Although I'm sure you can buy a separate holder online. The connection is a general ball and socket, so the holder can be easily replaced. It would also be nice to have an AC adapter included. It's great that the light is a USB A connection but it wouls help to have the adapter included. The clip is strong enough to support the light, but you do have to hold it in place as you twist and turn the phone holder and light to your preference. The clip is wide enough, but it would have been better to have deeper jaws to clamp it in place. Better yet, use a clamp!

Live Streaming
I am a traditional artist who recently got into Live Streaming and this was an interesting purchase. First, I really like how maneuverable the arms are, how bright the light is and the different temperatures of light and dim/bright settings are. It is wonderful. Unfortunately, the phone arm cannot hold a lot of weight, I have a Samsung Note 6 and if I don't arrange the arm in like an "s" to try and support the phone, it will slowly lower the angle. The clamp to hold the phone just barely fits around my phone too and it is difficult to slide open (I was lucky I had my thin case on the phone otherwise with the force of it snapping close on me for barely fitting my phone I think it would've scratched it. Possibly removing my case could potentially make it easier to fit my phone on the clamp but keeping it open is already pretty difficult as is). Another draw back is the clip to hold this to a table or stand does has foam padding but it left a little bit of residue on my table. It isn't that noticeable since my table is black but I haven't been able to clean it up? aside from those 2 draw back I am able to swivel the phone clamp end independently from the rest of the arm fairly well. I am keeping it because the light it really handy and I am probably going to use the phone camp arm for something else, maybe to hold a pop filter for my mic or something.

I'm so happy I tried this stand!
Working from home with a business that is primarily based on social media, I have learned the importance of having a great lighting and phone stand set up. I can't tell you how many times I have been stuck stacking boxes, books, make-up cases, and more to try to get just the right angle for my phone, plus bring lamps in from several rooms to make it light enough to look great during my videos, Facebook Lives, and Zoom calls. BUT NO MORE!!This stand holds my iPhone XSmax in it's case without any issues, and the lighting options are fantastic. I can change the warmth and tone throughout the day, AND can change the distance from my face so I don't look shiny or washed out. I love the adjustable option for the phone, too. With my last stand, the phone holder broke on the first day, and I used it many times with rubber bands, tape, or zip ties holding the phone grabber in place. What a waste. I should have purchased this one first, and I wouldn't have gone through all that trouble!!I have found I can use this one pretty much anywhere I will be doing lives, whether at the table, at my desk, or outside on my patio! Thanks for made a sturdy, functional product!!

Worked once, now bendable arms won’t stay up...
I’m not sure if I got a faulty item or what happened but it only worked once. Used it one time and it worked perfectly. Clipped the item on and adjusted the bendable arms to the correct angles I needed to hold my phone, used the light when I needed it, perfect. Went to use it a week later and the bendable arms just fall down and refuse to hold my phone up. I had to balance the holder on the back of my chair to keep it up. I don’t understand why it would do this. The light works though, so that’s nice but without the bendable arms holding my phone at the right angle, it’s pretty much useless for me now.
