So i bought this after lookong for several weeks for this exact item and settling for the long cables that just wouldnt work.After using this on my meta 3 for 2 weeks it has performed beautifully and above and beyond what i expected, i run my head set tetheres to a pc for highest data transfer, and run a seperate 45 watt charging cable to this adpater, i play for hours with out having to worry about the headset shutting off, it keeps up with charging and playing while running the headset and the passthrough camera for a mied reallity experiance. This ia the first afapter or cable that i have seen to be able to handle the needed data transfer to hold 90fps while in vr with mixed reality on a graphic demanding game. If you are looking to get best results for yiu vr headset that can tether with usb and charge, i highly recommend this unit.

Gets the job done for charging and audio. A little heavy to be directly connected to the phone and dangle straight down (like on a car mount) so it causes noise due to a poor sometimes, but a couple wiggles usually fixes it. Best used horizontal rather than vertical in a car, but know what you're getting at before buying. Charges fast as well for an iphone 16 pro max! For less than 10 dollars, definitely a good value for money purchase with solid build quality! 100 percent recommend!

I bought it to be able to charge both my phone andy VR glasses while they are connected to each other. They both charge ok, but the problem is the video doesn't work while connected to this adapter. Useless for my case.

It's perfect for a quest 3 and does the job well. It is power only through one port while the other accepts data transfer so keep that in mind. I use it for my headphones while I'm charging and I gotta say this thing saves the day. I'd imagine it works just as good on any usb c device although I haven't tried that personally.

I bought this to add to my Dell XPS 16 so I could free up a usb c slot used by my power cord, by adding this to my usb c port I was able to connect my Dell charger which is also usb c and a usb C M.2 enclosure used for backups, this worked great with the only obvious setback that the adapter power port only supplies up to 100 w power and my XPS requires 130w but even so it will still charge but at a slower rate and it does not seem to affect system performance. and the data port works at 10g so no loss on speed there,. and I gain 1 usb C port on a system that only has 3 usb ports total unless you spring for a Dock which I don't want to nor really need.

Bought this for my steam deck to have an external ssd and charge it at the same time. While in steamos that does work partially (it will only charge at the max wattage of smaller watt device), it does not work well if you are running an os off the drive (I run windows off the external ssd). It will work if you plug in a charger and the ssd then start up the deck off the drive, but as mentioned before it will only charge very slowly, but if you unplug the charger the external drive is no longer seen.

I have a Meta Quest 3 and for PCVR I use an ethernet connection and Virtual Desktop, so I get the quality and smoothness of Virtual Desktop with the bulletproof reliability of a cable. That, of course, requires a USB-C to ethernet adapter, which means I am constrained by the Quest's built-in battery, which can be an issue when sim racing for an extended period of time. I decided to try this hub so I could have both ethernet and charging at once through the Quest 3's single USB-C port. My primary concern was that the ethernet adapter wouldn't work through it, as I have a 90-degree elbow adapter it won't work through. Happily, no compatibility issues there, the Quest 3 still picked up the ethernet adapter through this hub and now I can race for hours without worrying about battery life.

It's something you probably won't use as often, but be grateful that it's there when you need it.
