The bed alarm works very well. The company has excellent customer service.I take care of an elderly person with dementia. She often tries to get out of bed to sit in her wheel chair, but she is unable to walk. This is the perfect storm for a fall. I installed a camera/microphone in her room to monitor her. But unless one is watching the monitor, if the person tries to get up without making any noise, one can miss it an she can fall. To correct this, I tried first another bed alarm. But it would go off whenever she moved in bed. Then I purchased the Lunderg alarm. Ever since I installed it, I have been alerted every time she tries to get up and, therefore, have been able to prevent a fall. It has been 4 months now without a single fall. And the alarm only goes off when she tries to get out of bed, not when she moves in bed. Thank you!!!

This product has been an excellent choice for my needs of knowing when my handicapped husband begins to try to get up out of his chair or the bed. He is a fall risk. This gives me peace in knowing I can get to him in time. The value for the money is great! The peace I have is actually priceless!

My Dad had a near fatal fall , after which he can barely stand or walk. He was hospitalized where they used bed alarms, but spent 30 days in rehab where they do not. So he actually fell 9 times while in rehab. Since he 's made little progress , I searched for a home bed alarm system. This has been a life saver. Though only home for less than a week, he has not fallen once. The alarm goes off quite a bit, but I'm able to reach him before he falls. And the set including a chair alarm too is an added bonus.
