Is this foam just sprayed on and left or does it need to be rubbed in as well.

It needs to be rubbed in. It is a foaming mousse-type spray. Don't use too much! |It soon dissipates easily and is gone in a minute. But be careful not to spray it everywhere! I spray it into one hand. A golf-ball size is plenty for one foot.

What age is this from please?

Not sure what the question request, the foot foam cream is intended for use on persons with diabetes and can be used on persons of any age. If not sure consult your doctor

Does anyone else think the smell is really horrible. It almost makes me retch

I totally agree with you. My husband had to use it. I could not bear the smell or the texture of the foam on my hands (So I used gloves). However, it worked really well to soften and make the skin on his feet more supple. The smell is problematic but the product is a good one. I would recommend it.

Can you use this on legs as well as feet ?

Tin says for very chapped skin so can't see why not.. The foam is amazing, couldn't recommend it more highly, my 25 Yr old son is typec1 diabetic and a postman so his feet get dry and sore. Its softened his feet so much, really soft now and hard skin gone..
