Fantastic
Incredibly smooth dram with a subtle Smokey finish, an expensive treat but worth it I’d say.

My opinion on this great dram!
So I read the reviews and tbh this whiskey has got a lot of stick for being overpriced.Let’s get that issue out of the way right now, yes it is expensive but when you consider the blends that I would put this up against it really isn’t imo.I’ve had some of the best (my favourite being hibiki 17-21) and I can tell you now Blue Label is right up there with the best.Straight up there’s an immediate big peat for me that I didn’t expect but welcomed nonetheless, I have to say I was drinking this in a large glass but as soon as I swapped to a smaller tulip glass the peat subsided and a more caramel/coffee taste started to come through, beautiful. If you want to put this on ice go right ahead as that’s when it becomes its most subtle, you still get the flavours albeit a bit less but it’s absolutely smooth and refined. All the above is my personal experience but I can say I’m glad I nabbed this at £90 on Black Friday, would I buy at £120....Absolutely!

Amazing!!!!
What a treat, bought for me by my wife as a birthday present which happens to be today, she has made this a very special birthday for me! I have the Gold, Green and Platinum labels by Johnnie Walker as I am a fan of their blends, each of them have their own characteristics and stunning flavours, with an ice cold glass of water in a separate glass to wash out the pallet, all the flavours come alive. This blend made to the 1869 recipe has a wonderful deep taste made with great care to be treasured. If all your after is a whisky to get drunk on the stock to the Red or Black labels, if you want a whisky to savour, enjoy and really appreciate then spend the extra and go for it, at just over £100 then this is well worth the dosh!!!!!!!!!

Delicious blend
Purchased November 2023 for £149.Item arrived in a nice presentation box, which showcased the lovely amber nectar inside the famous blue tinted bottle beautifully. As per the norm, the whisky tasted lovely. Im no connoisseur, but could definitely get hints of vanilla, caramel and a slight smokey note. I dont like the peaty whisky, so this is ideal for me.I enjoyed my last glass last night, so £149 for a years worth of pleasure makes up for the high cost.I can see that the cost has now gone up to £165, so I may need to shop around before purchasing again. I definitely will at some point.

Johnnie Walker Blue Label - Wow
Great taste, great colour, a wonderful blended whisky from Johnnie Walker. Gifted on from my kids for my 60th Birthday. This is most definitely a sipping whisky. I would recommend drinking this exquisite whisky on its own, neat, with not a thing in the glass, not even ice. Of course it's personal choice, and it's you whisky, so drink it whatever way you like.On initial tasting most of the liquid disappears to leave a very nice taste. Even my wife likes this one and she detests whisky! This Blue Label is very expensive. Personally, I think it's worth it, but I didn't pay for it, as it was a birthday gift from my kids! It is very gift-able, if you have a couple of kids or more.Lovely stuff.
