As someone new to flying the DJI Avata 2, I picked these up to give me some added insurance while learning the ropes, and they’ve already proven their worth. Installation was easy, and once clipped on, they fit snugly without any rattling or shifting during flight. There’s no interference with the propellers, which was one of my concerns going in. I’ve had three minor crashes so far (outdoor and low-altitude misjudgments), and thanks to these guards, my drone is still in perfect shape. They do a great job protecting the propellers and gimbal area during bumps, and the bright orange color makes the drone easier to spot, especially when flying low or in cluttered areas. One thing to note: at higher altitudes, I noticed a bit of wind buffeting. Nothing too dramatic, but it’s there. These guards add some surface area, which can catch wind and affect stability a little in breezier conditions. That’s the tradeoff between durability and aerodynamics. For perfectly. Can’t say how they help with impact as I’m not trying to crash it into anything.

Easy to install and remove. Somewhat squishy rubbery feeling, which is what I wanted. Will cause some stability issues when yawing and rolling at the same time in Sport/Normal flight. DO NOT recommend tricks with these. The stability issues magnify with flips as they do appear to alter how much air is moved through the props. Could not flip or roll properly with these own. Normal manual flight was smooth though, only issues I had were with flips and rolls.

The bumpers arrived on time with no damage. I put them on my Avata2 drone and they fit perfectly. I did bump a chair while flying and no damage was found. I don't know if they affect battery life because I'm just learning to fly this drone. I might compare after I get some more experience.

I just purchased these, and they look great, but the guards aren't cut correctly. One set of propellers are scraped up from hitting the guard. Most recently, I was making an orbit, and my drone flipped over and fell out of the sky, likely due to the guard, as I've never had that issue before. I don't recommend this product if you value the safety of your drone.

This is a great accessory. It once saved my drone from being destroyed during a bad maneuver/ crash, so it definitely proved its value. I highly recommend it for extra protection, especially if you're still learning or flying in tight spaces. Just keep in mind that any added weight will reduce your flight time a bit.

Stevig en past goed om de drone

Very bad. Interferes with motor function and causes failure. The plastic is not properly designed and encroaches on space for the blades and causes alot of noise and eventually will create an on screen error. Do not buy these. I was not able to return them because the cost of doing so was too expensive - so we through them out.
