Knob CreekSmall Batch Kentucky Straight Whiskey, Bourbon 70 cl

This is my first taste of Bourbon...and I love it! Never really cared for Scotch or "drinking" whiskey. This has a superb flavour. The first sip has a bit, but then goes down super smooth.

Got for a mates 40th, good price (around £28 if I recall). Nice bottle and good smooth whiskey

This is a lovely sipping bourbon and the fact it is aged really comes through in the way the flavour blooms in your mouth.There isn't much initial aroma from it and it does feel a little thin on the nose. The initial sip when it hits your mouth also feels very thin flavour wise but as you swallow then the depth really bursts in to life in your mouth. It is all in the back of the drink and this makes it perfect for slowly sipping .There is also a lovely warmth as it goes down, a really old fashioned nightcap warmth.My husband does like to mix this with a full sugar cola flavoured drink and whilst it is pleasing I much prefer a small pour over ice to take my time with.The bottle is also beautifully textured with a pattern that is reminiscent of sunlight dappled on slow flowing water. We did have some issues opening the wax seal on the bottle as it is fairly resistant to being pulled off but I got there in the end. This then reveals the lid which is the cork stopper type (my favourite on liquors).

Good bourbon. Great for an Old fashioned cocktail

There is a hint of nuts and dried fruit very nice but not as smooth and complex as four roses small batch in my opinion

33£!!? For a 9 year old age stated beam product!! What more needs saying? It's amazing!! It's my daily pour/ drinker at the price point ! May as well get it! The 7 year rye is AMAZIN ,appearance is great ! IE the colour and the deepness ,warmth etc in a 9 year old pour is very nice again can't recommend it enough! Amazing pour on its own and great even for mixing too or over ice!! The price makes it unpassable to buy imho ... Deffinetly won't pay over 35£ for it like

Wow, this is strong and I felt it, as I am sure most will. Great taste, when mixed or not but neat it blew me away! Good price and well worth the experience if you are into this flavour of alcohol. Will very much look forward to a repeat purchase.

Don’t normally like Bourbon but was given a taste of this in a pub and really enjoyed it so bought a bottle for drinking at home. This is now the second bottle I’ve purchased. A really good price, arrives quickly and is well packaged.
