BMW INPA K+DCAN Diagnostic Cable Support E serials(with Switch) Compatible for BMW E39 E46 Work with ISTA SSS NCS Coding Winkfp Programing

I bought this cable to be able to run some diagnostics tests on my E39. It arrived quickly, nicely packaged with the DVD. The instructions for all the programs that need to be installed could use some work. It's pretty technical and there are half a dozen different things that need to be installed and calibrated. The menus aren't exactly intuitive either. I got most of the stuff installed to the point where I could hook up the scanner to the car and get it to read the ignition was on and working. However I couldn't get it to read anything.I sent their tech support line a message on Skype, they got back to me within 30 minutes on a Friday evening and he used the TeamViewer program (included on the DVD) to remotely control my laptop and finish the install and get everything working in less than 10 minutes. Now I just need to brush up on my German and get familiar with the software some more.Overall I'm pleased with the product and very impressed with the tech support. A little better instructions may help with the install process though.

I have a bmw and was really looking forward to getting this .i got it on time but couldnt download the whole program , i reached out for help by team viewer. he said he would but never did . Basically i have a tool that doesnt work

So as everyone else surely is, I was skeptical, but I tried it out anyways... I need to be able to talk to all the modules in my sons 2000 BMW 323i to address a no crank problem... I set it up on a laptop running windows 7 32bit. I followed the installation instructions that are included on the disk exactly as it said, and viola! I had full communication.. The only thing that I cant seem to figure out is the switch on the cable end.. No description of what the positions do. I did get it to talk to the car on the second notch from the left. Used it to read the data from the modules and to code the windows and such. Worked well. (mine has the white circuit board)

It seems to be a great tool from reviews and all but my Apple computer is not compatible have to wait to get an hp or get a loaner in order to get it to work

We did not finish downloading the program to our laptop. We cannot get on to the link anymore.

The product works great. I didn't have a CD/DVD ROM in on my laptop, so i actual put the CD in my server and was able to mount to a virtual an pull the install files i needed. Unfortunately the product doesn't come with instructions on how to use the software, but the seller responded when i reached out , that they could remotely assist. I just ended up watching some youtube videos and I was able to successfully program the sons convertible to have the top go up and down with the Key fob.

It's basically a hack job. The software is pirated software, it has to be hacked to be able to use it. The tech support is somewhere in China I think and all they could do is nothing never got it working.

I installed software that came with the kit on a dedicated Windows 10 Virtual Machine running on VMware Workstation, because I was concerned to install it directly on my main laptop due to alleged viruses (which according to seller are not viruses at all. I don't know what is the truth). In VMware workstation you have to use USB pass-through feature to make the serial device visible to the VMBy default the kit does not come with software that allows to reset Transfer case adaptations. You will have to ask seller explicitly for that ISTA/D software.
