Many, many families have dogs these days that have become true family members. There are dozens of varieties and this puzzle celebrates that diversity.This Advent Calendar consists of daily pictures of dogs dressed in holiday attire, most specifically hats with a few also wearing antlers. Overall, the pictures are nicely colored both of the dogs and the red/green/white holiday decor. When I looked closely, I could see that the hats, antlers, etc. were photoshopped on the dogs' heads. I guess there's no way to take actual photos. However, I doubt anyone would notice unless looking closely enough to write a review.The box is fairly heavy. I don't plan to open until Dec. but am guessing the pieces are made well enough to last through the month of Dec. A full sized poster is included to guide you; each day portrays a separate dog which automatically makes the entire puzzle less daunting than it would be facing a box of 1008 pieces. (Consequently, giving this to a family with younger kids would still work). Each piece is numbered (as to the day); once finished, you could apply puzzle glue and frame to display next year OR disassemble and put back into the boxes to share with another friend or family.I am very pleased with this family project that helps count down the days until Christmas.

During COVID, my husband and I passed many days working on jigsaw puzzles. I had forgotten how fun and relaxing--and sometimes challenging--putting a puzzle together can be. We still enjoy working on puzzles, and I am always looking for another puzzle for us to complete.When I saw this Christmas Dog Advent Calendar Jigsaw Puzzle, I immediately ordered it! I absolutely LOVE dogs, anything related to Christmas, and jigsaw puzzles! This puzzle set will be perfect for the busy holiday season--only one 42-piece dog puzzle for each day of December (1st-24th). The separate puzzles are numbered, so as each day's puzzle is complete, it can attach to the previous day's puzzle until the last one completes the puzzle. An included poster can guide you if a puzzle gets out of place!This dog advent puzzle would be perfect for children (littles with supervision), visiting families, couples, college students home for the holidays, or any group who loves dogs or puzzles or a nice, relaxing activity. This Advent Calendar set arrives with a large box holding 24 little boxes, each one a puzzle on its own featuring a different breed of dog. The puzzle pieces are a nice small size, and are individually boxed with the pieces numbered on the back for storage until next Christmas season. Inside the main box is the display of the numbered boxes to be opened each day. On Christmas day you can assemble each of the daily puzzles together to form one large image of the dogs of Christmas.We love that this set is using images that look more like photos of dogs rather than the sometimes overdone animated artwork used by many puzzle companies. The puzzle pieces are made of sturdy cardboard. We wish that the outer box was a flap style rather than a lid style because then the lid can be closed easily to keep the empty and full boxes more protected. The lift off lid is a little hard to open since it doesn't have finger cutouts to get a good grip on either the lid or the bottom of the box. This lost it a star.Overall highly recommended for years of fun with the whole family.

I'm obsessed with advent calendars, puzzles, AND dogs, so obviously I needed this in my life. ;) It's only October (sigh), but I went ahead and peeked inside, and the pieces look well-made/well-cut and totally amazing! I'm sooo looking forward to putting it together!!

Cannot wait to build this! Fun Christmas activity with a darling dog a day. While awaiting Christmas, this gives an electronic-free activity for everyone in the family to enjoy. It also allows one to work on critical STEM skills!

I always buy my kids Advent calendars...even though they are adults! I like finding ones that are a bit different. This puzzle calendar is great. The colors are very vibrant and the image is clear. Each box has one section of the puzzle in it. I boutgh another puzzle from another maker that was one huge scene but I think I like this better as each day completes a dog..I think it makes it more fun for younger people and a little more satisfying. This calendar can be reused as the pieces are numbered with the box they go back into so you could pack it back up for another year or pass it along to someone else. Good for families or any age.

A nicely arranged grouping of happy dog faces await your completing these mini puzzles that become one larger image.The puzzle will make a great framed wall hanging once completed.Each individual puzzle is adorable all on its own as well.Dogs just have a way of cheering people up just by being there and this puzzle set is no exception.The dogs have expressive eyes and different colorful decorations on them such as santa hats and sunglasses.Kids and grown ups will enjoy putting these simple daily puzzles making this a great way to bring family members close during the holiday season.Overall very happy to have this sweet dog Christams Advent Calendar to share with my family in December.

My family always does a puzzle on Christmas Eve and I thought this was a super cute idea! You can make 1 section of it every day, or save it all and divvy out sections for each member of your family to do all in the same day. I can't wait to dive into it! My kids and husband agree that it's pretty cool!
