Best concrete bits
About 25 seconds to drill 4 holes in concrete block, to me it's very impressive, and not even a dent on a beat itself.

Competent Bits
This drill bit set appears to be tough, durable, and comes in an enclosed case for neat storage. The bits fit well in both of my Craftsman and Milwaukee drill/drivers. the flat shank design really helps keep a tight grip so the bit doesn't slip. It claims to work on a wide range of applications, but I find it works better on really hard materials like brick, cement, and tile. I've tied it on wood using the small bits, but it didn't work as well as my regular bits. Keep in mind that these bits have tungsten carbide tip, and even though it's harder than steel, it's actually more brittle. As a result, it can crack or shatter from a strong enough impact. That's a reason why I usually go slow with these bits. I'm just using these for small projects around the house, so I haven't really resorted to water to keep them cool during operation as suggested. So far, they've been holding up pretty well.

Worked well on masonry
Used one yesterday and it handled the drilling into brick much easier and smoother than other master bits have.

Good bits
I received the bits in the case that's on the product page. A rectangular, slide together case. The three smallest in one section, the (4) 1/4" bits in another, and each of the three largest bits in their own compartment. The shank is unique, though I've seen other similar approaches. This is triangular, though with rounded off angles. It helps prevent slipping, and I like it.Typically, I'd use the style that has a carbide tip that's not particularly sharp wedged into the point of the bit. Those work fine. These are sharper than those because they have a thinner and finer ground "wedge" inserted to the end. While these are not "sharp" they are sharper. And that helps prevent the bit from walking and worked well on concrete/cement, plastic and brick. I didn't try it on wood, because as someone who often works with wood, I have bits that will always do a better job and make a cleaner hole than those along the lines of a spade bit.Overall though, aside from using on wood, these are good multi-purpose bits. I like the fact that it has the triangular shank, and a sharper point to make better progress on difficult to drill through materials.
