I got this to replace an older USB hub because I wanted to add some C style, not realizing that this device would allow me to plug in both of my external monitors (USB A and HDMI), all of the dongles for my headset, keyboard, and mouse (USB A) and power for my laptop (USB C) with one USB C to spare.I wasn't sure if it would have the capacity to handle all of that, but it does and the displays look great, no lag on any devices.The option to plug in external memory cards is nice, also. Although I don't know if I will use it.Switching between remote and in office was a pain having to unplug four cables. Now I only have to unplug one!Really can't beat it for the price.

I am pairing this with my Macbook and it's not sending a signal to the extra monitor I bought at all times. When it goes to sleep the monitor is not connected and all the cords have to be unplugged and reconnected to reestablish the connection. A power issue? I didn't have that issue with other docks.**This is an update: I purchased another hub to replace this (another company + product entirely)... that one completely died after 3 days so I was forced to reuse this product. For whatever reason, It has been smooth after I transitioned back to this product. No lack of connectivity issues anymore, which I'm very happy about after a few weeks of use. Changing from 2 stars to 4 stars.

Works great on my iPhone, iPad & Mac. I carry it in my briefcase & take it everywhere. I love how I can load multiple thumb drives at once.

This is the second one of these I ordered. The first was GREAT. This one is workable, but is not the same quality as the first, causing for example the chip reader to have to be carefully set (I pull videos off trail cams with it.) The USB ports seem fine, just the chip is a little iffy. Again - the first one I bought was perfect - this one not so much.
