I got this "for free" after spending a fortune on the same brands wireless sensors (that works great also). This is by far the best temperature reader I have ever had. Highly recommended. The measurement is lightning fast, and as advertised, that makes a difference, you can get a great reading without burning yourself. It keeps the reading on the display after you "save" your hand, AND the display even switches to display the numbers correctly, even if you hold it upside down, the screen just flips. Very much worth its price. It also looks cool and feels very sturdy.

This thing is easy to read and super fast, the numbers are big and since it’s LED, you can see the numbers at any time of day or in any amount of light. I love the fact that it has a pretty strong magnet on the back so I just store mine on the fridge or on my grill when I need it close to me. The build quality is also phenomenal.

I have owned this one for a couple months and have used it two dozen or more time. I have owned a number or others you'll find on this site but, NONE can compare to this ONE. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it amazing YES! This thing is lightning fast and accurate. I love that the display orients itself, and the display is beautiful and easy to read. I realized I have not owned it for a long time but, every single I have used it, it blows me away. If you decide to own this one, you will never need another meat thermometer for life. If you want your chicken, or your steak, or any other meat to come out perfect at the right temperature so it is juicy and delicious, then you will appreciate this phenomenal meat probe. It has a strong magnet so I keep mine on the refrigerator for quick access. I can not speak highly enough about this meat thermometer. It is everything you always wanted and hoped for all those other times you ordered an instant read thermometer. This one is the first I've owned that is definitely INSTANT! I love this ONE!

I've been researching purchasing an instant read thermometer since last December after purchasing my new Recteq pellet grill. The wired probes are OK on the grill but if not inserted probably in the meat it will be giving an incorrect reading and possibly ruining the cook. I was impressed with the read specs of this unit before purchasing it. Also, having AAA batteries that can easily be replaced. I wasn’t impressed to know there was a 10 year warranty until reading reviews that this company stands behind their product. They have a 800 number with someone that actually answers the phone. Anyway, I received it about three weeks ago and it sits on the refrigerator as it has a strong magnet. So far used it three times I'm not disappointed. I made two turkey breast and had the wired temp probes inserted in each however they were reading a 10 degree difference after 90 minutes of cooking...probably because one was in an air pocket or a thin piece of meat. When the time came to check with this probe, I was so impressed with it's fast half second read. I inserted the probe quickly in each breast in three different spots to get a good consensus of the meat temp. Each breast was the same and identical to one of the wired probes. This process was so quick, that very little heat lost before closing the lid of the grill. The display is also easy to see in direct sunlight. I'm so impressed with with temp probe and would highly recommend it.

That’s what you want, right? Reads in less than a second. Small pin hole in your meat. VERY easy to use. Great battery life. Temperature is accurate. I tested it in boiling water. Great functionality.

good thermo pen great display very quick. the only issue is wish it had an inset where the probe part won't poke me our catch in the pocket

Have used this thermometer for over three years never failed until I dropped one. Did not survive the fall instantly re-ordered one and has been working ever since. Very quick reading and very accurate. This product is worth the money you pay for it.
