Great product!
Our pooch needed something to stop him biting at a wound on his tail the traditional cone of shame has caused problems due to his size, big dog equals big cone which then equals accidents galore around the house, so we thought we would try the inflatable collar and we were pleasantly surprised by how good it was, smaller than a cone but restricted my dog from getting to his wound. The dog was comfortable in the collar which fitted snugly as it was easy to adjust the size, he never play at the collar trying to remove it in all he seemed at ease which was a vast improvement on the traditional cone and could sleep soundly whilst wearing it, All said I think this item is fantastic it does it's job superbly and at such a reasonable price I highly recommend it.

Does the job very well.
Our springer spaniel punctured his thigh on a tree branch and had a large open wound that couldn't be stitched. He kept running into everything and everyone with the cone so we had to try something else. This was perfect. He was instantly more comfortable. The strap was effective at keeping it tight enough, we only had to adjust the collar every couple of days. He wore it for at least 2 weeks and suffered no damage. He is so mischievous I was sure he would get it off or burst it but no. It lasted very well and is ready for the next mishap.

Brilliant
So much better than the victorian cones which are frankly animal abuse. He can actually eat and drink with it on and be a normal dog and he loves falling asleep in it. 3 of my friends used it on my recommendation and also recommended it to everyone they know. It may make your dog snore a bit more though, but sooo cute! hahaha

comfortable but puncture prone
The media could not be loaded. My cat had sex change surgery meaning he had to be in a cone for many weeks to heal but like houdini he managed to get to the wound with a cone on or when frustrated would kick it off with force. I bought this as my vet recommended it, saying that he might find it more comfortable. It is much more comfortable for Nemo, he is far happier wearing it that the cone and I am happy I got it. There are a few issues with it though.1. It punctures easily. Within a few hours it had deflated and Nemo was messing with his wound. I’ve had to repair it 4 times now with Trex tape over the holes to keep it inflated.2. The buckle. We cannot trust Nemo to wear it overnight as if the collar turns around and the buckle is at the front rather than the back, he can access his bum because the buckle area isn’t as large as the main body of the collar.3. He can occasionally get it off. Little Houdini has managed before to jam it in between furniture and then reverse, pulling off the collar much to his glee. He was also playing and got very excited, and kicked it clean off too as you can see in the video. To summarise yes I am happy I got it, just a shame it punctures too easily. I know the other stuff can’t really be helped and Nemo is far happier wearing it than he is his cones.

Bought Large and sizing was accurate for 25kg collie/kelpieX
Much better for your dog. No cone to hit on sofas & doorframes. Fits well. You have to have it snug so doesn't come off but animal can still breath ok. Ours was relaxed enough to fall asleep with it - using it as a pillow. He had an op on side of body so this was perfect. As others have said, no good if paw injury - just think it through as to what your dog can get at & you'll be fine. One thing we did was get him (the dog) to wear it for an hour for a few days before the op.. Whatever, the reason our dog wasn't fussed about the collar so worked a treat.

Doesn’t stay inflated
Difficult to inflate. Once inflated it stayed inflated for about an two hours then deflated. Reinflated it but the same happened again. Bit of a waste of time and now got a dog 8 hours out of surgery that hasn’t got an inflated collar/ cone and we’re having to watch all night till the shops reopen in the morning and we can buy something else. Real shame

No Good
My dog had surgery and rather than get the lampshade thing, I thought this would work better and be more comfortable and less cumbersome. After blowing it up, which was a traumatic as my oxygen levels and blood pressure dropped and I nearly keeled over! I eventually getting it blown up and sealed, I then had to catch my dog, who was having none of it. But after wrestling with him to get it on. I thought YES! That's you sorted, and he got used to it. Then after a day of use it started to deflate. I blew it up again, it stayed up for an hour or so. So I did what you do with a bike puncture, but could find no holes in it. So blew it up again, and it went down again. So I binned it and borrowed my neighbours boxer shorts (that was an odd conversation) most neighbours ask for a cup of sugar, not "Oi mate can I nick a pair of your boxers?" and put them on my dog, cutting a hole for his tail, taking them off when we went for a walk (I didn't want to humiliate my dog and have other dogs laughing at him). So I wouldn't bother paying for this it was a waste of money. Maybe I got one that slipped through quality control? I will never know. But basically it was crap.
