A Stylish and Functional Daily Companion
The TARION Canvas Everyday Camera Backpack is a perfect blend of style and functionality for photography enthusiasts and everyday users alike. As a photographer who values both aesthetics and practicality, this backpack has quickly become my go-to for carrying my gear and essentials.Pros:Vintage Aesthetic: The washed canvas and leather accents give the backpack a timeless, retro look that I absolutely love. It's a stylish alternative to more utilitarian camera bags.Versatile 2-in-1 Design: The removable camera insert is a brilliant feature. It allows me to customize the bag's interior for my specific gear and easily switch between carrying camera equipment or everyday essentials.Ample Storage: The backpack offers surprisingly generous space for its size. I can comfortably fit my DSLR camera, two lenses, a few accessories, and even a light jacket in the main compartment. The additional pockets are perfect for storing smaller items like SD cards, batteries, and my phone.Comfortable and Breathable: The padded back panel and shoulder straps make the backpack comfortable to wear, even when loaded with gear. The breathable mesh backing helps prevent sweating on warmer days.Lightweight and Durable: The backpack is surprisingly light, making it easy to carry around all day. The canvas material feels durable and should hold up well to regular use.Cons:Limited Weather Protection: While the canvas is water-resistant to some extent, the backpack doesn't come with a rain cover, so I'd recommend using one in wet weather. Not for Heavy Gear: The backpack isn't designed for carrying heavy loads, so it might not be the best choice if you have a lot of bulky equipment.Overall:The TARION Canvas Everyday Camera Backpack is a fantastic option for photographers and everyday users who want a stylish and functional bag for carrying their gear and essentials. Its vintage aesthetic, versatile design, ample storage, and comfortable fit make it a joy to use. While it might not be the most weatherproof or heavy-duty option, it's a great value for the price and a bag I'd happily recommend.

Decent smaller bag.
I love the vintage look, its a great classic design, the straps are comfy and fairly easy to adjust, the fittings are leather and metal.THe inner camera bag is decent, big enough for my DSLR without any long lenses, or lenses without the body and has three padded inserts and a mesh zipper section in the top for filters/cards.The inner bag has no extra fastenings, just the pads. The outer bag is a mid size about half the size of a traditional backpack, has a drawstring closing with a magnetic flap and two side pockets also magnet closing, small zipper key/card/cash pocket on the back.Overall its very much an 'everyday' bag in that you wouldn't be using it for anything special or if you had lots of equipment, its decent but not outstanding. Not waterproof in anyway, not even a cursory leather flap over the top, probably water resistant in the same way as wearing a coat would be!Its a nice bag and feels pretty comfy and looks good, best suited to summer and get some sort of cover just in case of a major downpour!

nice
It's become my go-to bag for carrying my camera gear. This backpack is not only stylish with its vintage look, but it's also very practical. It has a removable inner camera insert that lets me switch between a full camera bag and a casual everyday backpack. The insert is padded and has adjustable dividers, keeping my camera and lenses safe and organised. When I don't need all my gear, just take the insert out and use the backpack for errands, work, or travel. This bag is crafted from tough, washed canvas that looks and feels amazing. It's got that cool vintage vibe, but it's clearly built to last. The leather trim adds a touch of class, and the stitching seems nice and secure.

Very well thought-out 'stealth' camera bag, with bags of space...
The TLDR: A lovely, heavy canvas, "Pot Belly" backpack of medium size, with a well padded seperate camera bag.In detail: The TARION Canvas Everyday Camera Backpack is constructed of heavy canvas with leather straps and magnetic 'pop' button closures (I like the function of these!) and has 2 internal pockets at the rear and a single zipped pocket at the front (front being the bit that meets ones back), externally there are 2 side pockets of good size and a concealed zipped compartment at the front right-hand side. The top of the bag, under the flap, has a heavy drawstring closure, useful to pull the body inside the area covered by the flap. The camera bag is very well padded, has 3 loose, padded, dividers and a zipped net pocket on the inside of the lid. It is large enough to carry my APS-C camera with 18-105mm lens attached and a spare lens or filters. A larger full-frame camera should be accommodated, with perhaps 2 smaller lenses. I have not had the opportunity to check its water resistance yet (wow! A few dry days when I was away)I had the camera bag, with camera & filters, etc. inside the bag, my coat, chocolate & water inside the bag, 60mm Macro lens & Speedlight in the external pockets while out walking around a stretch of coast, comfortable in use and not obviously a camera bag...Overall, this is lovely to use, with ample space to carry essentials - provided one is reasonably sensible it iis also comfortable 'all-day'. An observation, which isn't a real negative, is that there isn't particularly heavy padding at the front of the bag - although it does have a mesh facing ones back for breatheability, I assume, so some thought to prevent angular, hard, objects in the bag being uncomfortably placed, is needed. (That said, I took my gimbal out with me and used my lightweight jacket to pad out between my back and this hard object!)I really like the 'Retro' styling, well done TARION!

Great quality build, super flexible for day-to-day use. More than just a camera bag!
I had been looking for a smaller canvas napsack for about 9 months. Search after search everything was too large for my purposes or too expensive. Then one day, on what I expected to be another fruitless search, this bag pops up! It's the perfect size for me. The straps are well padded and the sewing is great. I'm an artist who frequently schleps her DSLR around when my shoulder health permits it. The insert is not as protective as my current camera bag but when I need only one lens the insert will be perfect for my purposes. What I was keen on finding was a napsack that wasn't too bag that I use use to put a canvas purse into so I wasn't carrying too many bags to and fro from appointments. I'll still use my hiking backpack with hip straps for more intensive outings, but for running errands carrying and water bottle and perhaps a laptop, with my purse inside its ideal. It took a while, but I've found the perfect nesting system that allows me to shrink the size of the bag I am carrying without having to transfer every last lil bit of purse paraphernalia. I'm extraordinarily pleased with my creation and I share in case you are looking for something similar. I still need to find the smallest canvas purse, essentially a cross body wallet with room for a phone and key. When complete I'll have everything I need, or don't need, in one spot and I'll never end of forget to transfer something over. The camvas purse easily holds a 2023 10" iPad, Kobo ereader, all the usual purse things and tucks into this napsack like a dream. While my shoulders can tolerate it carrying like a cross body I use the messenger bag/purse straps to attach to camera napsack and secure the napsack straps with a camping elastic that secures with venceo at the ends. When I need to change things up for my shoulders I can tuck the strap inside and use the backpack. Everything is secure within the inner bag and I needn't be watchful of why people are getting close to my bag while waiting for the streetlight to change. The napsack and the waxed canvas bag have the same hardware so everything looks like it made for each other. As a hypermobile, ND person who has bad shoulders and sensory issues with fabrics, both the canvas of the camera bag and the waxed canvas bag inside (https://a.co/d/aKf5ig3 I bought the small size in Coffee) are delightful to the hand and flexible enough to rotate the pressure on my shoulders . The shangri-la bag will get even smaller after I add another snap at the bottom of the bag, making it even more adaptable. I've sewn in stretchy cords to both the front and back pockets to help combat my klutziness, as I have done in the camera bag's pockets. Now I just need ro find the smaller inner bag that will contain the barest essentials - keys, phone, wallet and what appears to be an adaptable napsack will become everything I need in a compact, well made, attractive canvas bag - that I can also use as a camera bag. There aren't words enough to describe how thrilled I am with this purchase but I obviously tried to find all the words. 🙃

Roomy "Vintage" Canvas Backpack With Small Waterproof Camera Bag Inside
The "TARION Canvas Camera Backpack Small" is an eclectic mix of old-style canvas backpacks with a small, lopsided rectangular camera bag with a plush, velvet lined interior. It could have gone so wrong in the mix but, to my eye and use, at least, it works well. The canvas backpack is roomy, at full expansion its internal dimensions amount to just about 805 cu.in. (the manufacturer states it is 13.4 L) and is lined with a very soft cotton material. It fits comfortably on the back and is light when empty (it's filled weight will, of course, depend on what you have in it). At the top of the back seam there is a good sized leather loop to carry the backpack if you do not want to use the straps or to hang it on wall hooks. There is a zippered safety pocket on the back side which will be invisible when worn, and roomy pockets on each side. The backpack, and the side pockets, all close with magnetic snaps which hold fairly well (there are visible strap closures as well but for cosmetic purposes only). The opening at the top of the backpack can be drawn tight with a braided rope running along the periphery of the opening. There is zippered pocket along the back lining and two open pockets along the front lining. These features, together with the canvas material, remind me to a large extent of the canvas "rucksacks" we used to have as kids. The zippered camera bag is small. It just about fit my Nikon D750 with a 24 - 120mm FX lens attached. On the other hand, it fit my old Nikon D50 with 3 lenses (including a 55 - 200mm DX) with room to spare. The outside of the camera bag is nylon coated and presumably waterproof. The inside is lined with velvet and has three movable velvet covered internal dividers; there are also 2 zippered mesh pockets on the inside of the top lid. The camera bag can be kept in the knapsack or carried separately using the top strap.Putting everything together this is a very nice knapsack/camera bag combination. The knapsack can be used alone to carry whatever you might need for a day trip meandering around a town or in the woods or, if including the camera case with equipment inside, it can carry extra light clothes and/or equipment you might need for your day photo trip. I actually love this bag combo and will find a lot of use for it through my travels. As such I think it is a solid 5 star product and I heartily recommend it to anyone needing this kind of container, either for a day trip as a backpack alone, or for a day's camera outing.(Please see below for my rating criteria):=============================================================Disclosure:As noted by Amazon, I am part of the Vine Program which means that I acquire products at no cost in return for a truthful rating. A fun day-hike bag with some shortcomings
The Tarion Everyday Canvas Camera Backpack is a fun-looking bag that appears to be well constructed for handling the wear and tear of daily use. I’d expect this bag to hold up nicely for years. The shoulder straps have plenty of adjustment capability, and I find the bag comfortable to carry. The camera insert is quite compact. But it is roomy enough to hold my Fujifilm X-T30 with an attached grip and the 18-55mm kit lens, with room left over for one or two additional small lenses. The insert, which fills most of the main bag compartment, seals up with a zipper around the top, has a water-resistant outer lining and a soft fabric lining to protect its contents. It also comes with padded dividers that look like what you’d find in most any camera bag. I find the dividers pretty much useless, however. There is no way to secure them in place as neither they nor the insert walls come with hook-and-loop fasteners. So, there is no actual compartmentalization or protection. This is a serious omission and my biggest complaint. My solution, though not a convenient one, is to protect the small lenses in individual foam rubber or cloth wraps. The backpack bag is arguably large enough to store supplies for a day hike. I can see carrying a light lunch and a snack or two along with a little camera gear.If you want to use it principally as a camera bag, the pockets on each side provide some additional space for a couple of small items, such as a couple of very small lenses, or maybe some filters. With my crop-frame mirrorless camera I can get a lens into each side pocket. Alternatively, a Godox TT350 speedlight will fit perfectly in either side pocket. Besides not having useful dividers in the camera insert, there is the issue of accessing the camera while hiking. Grabbing a camera from the insert involves taking the bag off your back, opening a flap at the top and then loosening the drawstring closure to get to the camera insert. Then you need to either remove the insert and open the zipper around its top, or just unzip it while the insert is in the bag. My guess is that not many photographers will want to carry their camera in the insert while hiking. This is a great-looking little backpack, that most will find they can carry with no strain. For my photography walks, however, it lacks the convenience I have come to expect from using other camera bags. Where I might use it is when I need a small photography kit to shoot a destination or event, but do not need gear access while getting there or returning. Weighing the pluses and minuses I have listed, I would give the Tarion bag 4 stars, as I really like this thing, despite the few frustrations.
