This is a set of two soft-cover books, NOT hardcover. The books are still in original wrap. Review: Excellent curriculum - I absolutely love these books! We just started our homeschool journey and actually used this same curriculum while attending brick and motor school. I like the step by step instructions and spiral review. I got the Kindergarten set (excellent way to introduce children to numbers both recognition and forming them on paper). And is step by step preparing them for addition/subtraction and shape recognition. We also got the 4th grade edition and again, very easy to get through the book. Excellent curriculum
