Good way to share music on long drives but does not work for phone calls
First thing to note about this product is that it is not meant to be used to take phone calls and charge your phone. It will not work for phone calls for some reason. I am unsure but most adapters I have tried do not allow phone calls through this device via headphones. That being said, this item is actually a lot bigger than other adapters being that it gives two 3.5 headphone ports for your to use. I am not a fan how a lot of phones are now not having the headphone jacks for you to use so you basically have nothing. This is great for when you are trying to use headphones with someone else and such. I usually use this to watch movies with a friend on my ipad. It also allows you to charge your device while using headphones. The adapter does feel a bit cheap in material but it works for what you need. The extension is pretty nice but I am afraid of cable fraying at the neck considering it has a bigger body so heavier weight. It does not effect charging time from what I can tell but the device does get warm with current going through it. The sound quality does not seem to be effected as I tried the iphone headphones and this adapter and they sound pretty much the same with both headphone ports in use. Overall I think this is a great thing to have if you happen to have children I feel like or a type of person who wants to share their videos without everyone else listening in or such. It can be a bit unnecessary to have two ports if you do not plan to use two headphones as this is a bulkier product. The box it comes in looks a lot like an apple which is pretty funny.

This is the BESSSSTTT product!!!! It solves the problem of wanting to listen to music while charging your phone!!! This product works great, is super easy to set up, and super easy to use!!! It is a sleek design! Great for road trips or airplane flights!!!!

WORKS WHEN IT WANTS TO
Waste of money & can’t return because return window closed. Works when it wants to. We have to plug & unplug headset to start working again & if you slightly move one of the headset cords it stops working. Extremely frustrating & disappointment.

Can’t hear other person talking on headset
Plays music and charges good, but when making phone calls using a headset it doesn’t allow you to hear the other person talking.

I was not about to keep track of multiple tablets just to keep my 3.5 and 5-year-old entertained for a couple of hours. Enter this little gem of a splitter.I paired it with two corded headphones and my iPad Mini, and it worked flawlessly right out of the box—no tech headaches, no setup tutorials, just plug and play. The boys were actually excited to watch the same show (a rare sibling win), and I got a moment of peace. Truly, a parenting unicorn.If you’re flying with kids and trying to pack light while keeping the peace, this is a no-brainer. Highly recommend! Worked perfectly for us.
Works great! We used it on long flights to watch movies together, and listen to music together from on device ( iPhone and iPad ).

A bit fiddly, but works for what I use it for.
First of all, this does not work at all in phone mode, not even listen only. This is clearly described in vendor's description. Sometimes I forget that.I bought this so I could charge my phone while listening to videos with wired earphones. You can listen with or without the charge cable connected.The connector is little wider than the apple part it replaced, I have a rubber case on my phone that requires a firm push to seat the connector to the phone.The plastic box walls seem thin and it is lighter than I expected. Purchasers should not attempt to stand on it.The earphone jacks make a good connection about 80% of the time. Otherwise the volume is greatly reduced, or missing. This is easily resolved by turning the headphone jack in its socket. It's not my headphones as it happens with multiple headphones, and only this device. I would probably buy this again, even with this flaw.
