These cables are the greatest thing for bulk data transfers to and from my Galaxy Note 3 that I have found. I have used them now under both Kitkat and Lolipop, and they work well with both. When you plug the cable in, the phone recognizes it and displays a status message to tell you so. When you plus a FAT32 formatted memory stick into it, the phone pauses for a moment and then opens MyFiles, showing the stick as USBDriveA. You can then copy and paste files to your hearts content. The transfer rate is pretty good - not great, but pretty good. This is a great way to do backups of your phone, to transfer music onto your phone, and to transfer photos onto your phone. I strongly recommend these.
