Keeps the tea I was drinking hot for hours! I like to brew a big pot but it always gets too cold in the teapot. I like this because I can continue to drink at my own pace.It's very light and has a lock which stops any accidental presses from the top, and the handle makes it easy to carry around! Very handy if it's a nice day and I want to go outside. The pour is good and the amount it holds is perfect for me and maybe a friend or two.I think it's very worth the price!

I have used this 3 times for hot water. Twice to take hot chocolate to the soccer fields for my daughter’s team (they just mixed in instant packets) and once for a class party for a hot cocoa bar. Both times, water stayed hot several hours. Really glad I purchased it and hope to use it for many years.

I bought the Airpot Coffee Carafe to help keep my pots of coffee warm for extended periods instead of microwaving the coffee later to bring the cup of coffee back up to the ideal hot temperature. This Carafe also can be used to keep cool beverages cold but I am testing this in the winter and I am more in the mood for warm beverages. I may update my review for cold beverages later when I get a chance to test that feature. Depending on your coffee pot size this Carafe can fit roughly two pots of coffee. In my test I found that the hot coffee was held adequately hot for up to 3 hours after that time I noticed a drop in temperature, your results may vary. I am happy with those results personally because most of my home parties only last 3 to 4 hours so the duration is adequate for my needs. The Carafe appears to be made of sturdy materials and has a nice feature that it can rotate around 360 degrees. The cleaning brush that is provided is very helpful for cleaning inside the container considering the smallish hole that is provided at the base's mouth. Overall I believe this is a good product for the value.

I bought two. One came broken (lid wouldn't lock) and I didn't notice until I had washed it out and threw away most of the packaging. Husband eventually repaired it, but I was disappointed. The other functions perfectly.
