This outdoor power stake has all the bells and whistles one could want. Impressed right out of the box with the thick, heavy-duty 25 foot extension cord. I like that you can use the stake to put it anywhere in the yard or hang it on the exterior of the house. I love all of the options for setting the timer and maybe the best part is that if you change your mind after setting up your Christmas lights you don’t have to trek out into the snow to change it on the unit - just use the little remote. I think this will be a game changer for me since in prior years I’ve tried linking light strands together only to have them trip the breaker when water seeps in. Now I can just plug them in separately with 6 outlets available! If I had to note one thing that could be improved; I think the plastic stake that it comes with could be a little more substantial. With all of the other pluses still giving it 5 stars.

Perfect for holiday decor. This took a little bit for me to figure out how to actually set the timer but once I got the hang of it I was pleased! There are so many spots to plug in and the auto feature make my life easier since I don't have to remember to shut off the light in the morning.

I got this to make running extension cords in the rain and winter safer. Usually, cords are just lying in the grass and water can get into the plug ends. I’ve had a breaker trip because of this. In the winter we put up a lot of decorations and I used a flat round multi port adapter. I ended up putting that in a sack to keep snow and water out. This outlet is on a stake so it will be above the ground so no water or snow will be getting into it. It is low to the ground so it will not be very noticeable at all. I wish I had seen this outlet last year. I could have saved the aggravation of trying to keep water out of the outlets.I highly recommend this if you have anything that will be in wet weather. This works very well.

I broke my old GE power stake some time ago and I had, so far, given up finding a replacement. Given the good price of this item, I decided to give it a try. The power stake arrived in a neat package that contained the power section, a two-section ground stake, a neat remote control, and a user guide. The thing that immediately stood out was the length of the power cord (25 ft.) which is quite nice to have and makes the whole power stake more versatile. The cord is AWG 14, so quite adequate for a maximum load of 15 A, and it feels quite high quality. These are qualities I always look for in any power device. The steak is exactly like the one I had in my old GE unit, which means it is robust, but like all things plastic, it may break down the road, especially if abused, but this is to be expected. The remote is a nice addition because, while all functions are there, they can be accessed from inside the house. Programming the unit with the remote is very intuitive and any issue can be resolved by looking at the manual included. Overall I am satisfied of my purchase and I feel like I can recommend it without a doubt.

I definitely will not recommend this. The power flickered due to winds and now I cannot use the cameras that were plugged in. When the power came back on, the timer set to default and the power post shut off automatically. You can’t disable the timer unless you have the remote. I’m several states away and I can’t use my cameras to pan the property for damage from Hurricane Helene until someone gets the remote and disables the timer so the power block remains on. The timer was absolutely stupid. I can use a separate smart outlet to turn the power off/on remotely or in conjunction with my wireless sensor tags. So glad I didn’t plug the deep freezer into this power device. Don’t buy. You will be sorry.

I have quite a few of those outlet yard stakes for use at holidays. Most of them have three outlets and some are double-sided. This one kicks almost all those to the curb with the volume of outlets and length of the power cord (25 ft.) I love using this around the yard even for non-holiday applications like yard tools. I can set timers or use the remote to operate lights and decorations during the holidays. Other times of the year plant it in the yard in the heat of battle with whatever comes. Then lay waste to the menacing yard invaders. Plastic stakes fail with time spent in the sun (I would like to find a nice coated metal stake for it.) Well designed product just be mindful of what is plugged in.

We use this when relaxing in the yard to be able to still charge devices or power lights. It works well and is easy to deploy, leaving the bottom half of the spike in the ground and taking the rest of it away when we need to mow or do otherwise. The timer is good though I don't use it. The build quality is very solid and has lasted against my dog running into it many times.

We have power outlets in the back of our house, but not in the front of the house. We have some wired landscaping lighting and we've had to use extension cords from the garage and it's just not clean looking. Instead of using extension cords, we plugged this into the garage and installed it outside. It's so much cleaner looking and really like that I can control it with a remote control. So far, so good. This is a nice improvement.
