I’m a crafroholic but very new to uv resin, I’m having a lot of fun with this! It can get a little messy especially if you don’t know what you’re doing lol but with a little practice that gets better. Very easy to use, cures quickly! The light does have to be plugged in when using as it’s not rechargeable nor has option for batteries. I bought some dyes to go with it and as long as the resin color isn’t too dark, the curing process is as fast and simple. Working on layers also helps! Love the silicone mixing cups it comes with. Great price too, I saw some of the supplies at the craft store and honestly, what you get with this kit would have been $45-50.I can’t speak on durability as I haven’t had it for that long, but I do appreciate that there isn’t a strong smell to it! Overall happy with this purchase.

I use this when building and detailing model cars. it works great, and couldn't be simpler. Put it on, cure it with the light and you're done. One thing to note, you should protect your eyes when using the light. I've used to to add the cover over the gauges, to attach headlight lenses and windows so far. Super clear, and fast.

This worked perfectly! Price was right, too! I needed to repair a cracked plastic window panel. This resin did the trick. It was my first time working with resin and it was so easy to use. It did the trick. Follow the directions and it’s great! I did find that the lamp didn’t help much. Maybe it would be good for small items but for a small sheet of plastic window the sun did the trick. Too big for the wee light machine. Sun hardened quickly.

This was my first try at using uv resin. Using this product was a blast! It was really enjoyable making things in molds but free-form designs are really fun as well. The bottles seem small but actually go a long way when making small figures 2 to 3 inches or smaller. I've done a couple of bigger wall art pieces too! It cleans up well with baby wipes or alcohol. I run the light for a few cycles to remove any stickiness. If it's a thick project I pour and cure in layers to avoid warping as it cures.

Very happy with this resin. As with any of these products that have the silver top seal, it's difficult to pull that off, so be sure to wear gloves when doing this and when using the resin. No strong odor and a nice finish. The lamp works very well. At first I thought the legs of the lamp were missing but they are folded into the bottom of it. All in all I'm happy with this product.

I've dabbled with resin in the past and quickly gave up because it's a pricy medium and the margin for error is frustratingly low. A friend recommended that I give UV resin a try, and wow is it far easier to work with than the traditional kind! I love not having to deal with the hassle of mixing two parts together and the quick curing time is so satisfying! I find that it's also easier to clean than traditional resin if you accidentally spill a drop. This kit contains everything you need to get started and the two bottles included are sizeable enough to last me a good while. Definitely an excellent beginner set!
