Alright, my experience goes to about a year! It’s a lot but a full testimony on how this product fixed my tinea versicolor.First things first, this condition varies case by case!!! I looked it up by Google image search when these spots started showing on my torso area. Google images claimed it was tinea versicolor and was correct.I tried this soap last year in 2023 in hopes of making the torso area go away, but it did not. I probably did not shower frequent enough, or other techniques that weren’t applied to make it go away.Time went by, and it spread like wildfire as other reviews state that it does. It spread to my arms as the pictures show. I picked this soap again for a second chance but to shower everyday this time. I scrubbed the “natural” side of the soap directly into the areas most needed. I did this everyday for about 1-2 weeks.Voila. Results and I am satisfied for giving this product a second chance! The torso area cleared also! Results show by fading away in time! There are some disclaimers before using this soap:1. You have to shower this soap only for 1-2 weeks. I did not scrub it into the impacted areas of my skin last year but did this time, which might’ve helped also. Again case by case basis. I’m still regularly using this soap to avoid relapse.2. The sulfur stink. It’s not bothersome on skin, but can be on clothes overtime. Prepare to wash your clothes a lot. I best recommend using this product when you do not have to face the public much also.3. Spots may invert in appearance. The pictures show these pale spots too. But I have not been in the sun lately to tan my skin back to its normal look.Otherwise, great product and satisfied with the results. Thank you.

I've had tinea vericolor all my life. As a hot yoga instructor with lots of sweat involved, I've tried all the prescription stuff. It always leaves my skin feeling tight and chemical-treated. I use this soap exclusively now on a daily basis, and it's the easiest way to keep the spots away from returning. So much easier than multiple dr appointments and runs to the pharmacy. Stick with it, use it regularly, and no problem!

I received this on july 15, writing a reveiw on august 4, 2018.For starters, this product works; however, the instructions is what makes this product appear ineffective.The instruction is to shower with this soap bar twice a day (which i did for 17 days) and it wasnt good enough. To elaborate, it appeared to have a major result the first 2 days but diminished like the fungus became immune!We are dealing with a fungus that grows from our sweat so why would we wash this product off our body when the solution is keep it on the skin long enough to kill the fungus? So i decided to keep the soap on my body and it made a HUGE difference!Id shower like normal, dry up, then before i put my clothes on i’d RUB in this soap bar to the areas in need with a tiny bit of water, creating a lotion like soap layer. I’ll let this dry or sometimes ill put my clothes on right after i applied. You will smell like sulfur but thats the stuff that kills! I did this for 3 days and my tinea versicolor is nearly gone!!Remember, this product like all products only kill the surface of the fungus. Hence why you have to wash off the dead surface to get to the fungus underneath them. The longer you keep the sulfur on your skin the more dead fungi. Wash off the dead fungi (is visible if you use a wet papertowel!!!) and dry rub that bar of soap again with a bit of water.Say good bye to that fungus! 3 days my way vs 17 days their way, i had immediate results doing it my way!Use it like a lotion and do it twice a day! Its an extreme game changer!!!!

This product is amazing! I was really hesitant to get it. I have been struggling with tinea versicolor for 3 years now. It started as a perfectly round spot on my back, not really noticeable. The fungal has spread on my back to my neck and chest, arm and between boob cleavage. Once it started spreading on my chest I knew this has to resolved. It made me start to feel insecure about myself because I worried that people would think I was contagious and had a disease. I don't have dermatology insurance so I really didn't want to have to pay for the deductible $95 and then for them to prescribe me medication which would be $100. My boyfriend also has it, his has stayed on his back but has also spread like wildfire. The spots became much bigger the quantity of them increased. He had insurance and he was prescribed oral medication. Made him super itchy and he said his skin felt like it was on fire. The fungal didn't go away at all and continued to spread. With that in mind I really didn't want to go to dermatologist because I knew what they would do from knowing his experience. I searched on amazon and came across this product, this was my only option before I decided I would go to a dermatologist. I bought the product and I really and truly could not be happier. It's summer time so tinea is rampage right now, but it has helped SOOO MUCH. my spots are almost completely gone and my boyfriends back is completely clear. I used the bar of soap 2x a day in the shower. In morning and at night. I used my fingernails to gently scratch the product into my skin to make sure it soaks it in and then let it sit for 30 sec. after just rinse off and tap to dry my skin after shower. If I went to lake, pool, or beach I would do the treatment quickly before and then after use the soap again. Moisture makes the tinea rampage so anytime you will be exposed to sun and moisture in air, prepare in advance so it does not spread. I am going to continue to order this soap and really hit hard on it in the winter when I am not exposed to sun and moisture as much. The smell is not bad at all, it smells like the beach/seaweed. Don't let the smell scare you. It's hardly noticeable and so worth it when you see results. I love to tan and doing treatment and getting a tan has helped my skin go back to normal color and no noticeable spots because the fungal treatment kicks in with it. My motto is try it- it won't hurt you to give it a shot. I use the soap everywhere on my body except private areas to make sure my body is covered if it decides it wants to spread. LOVE!!!!!
