Useful, easy to set up, and works!
Really useful product - It doesn't have a high level of customizability, but does what it's supposed to do, which is automate non-automated lighting for a cheap price. Basically, you turn it on at the time you want it to turn on every day, set how many hours it should be on, and it repeats that every day. Easy and effective. These worked just fine in-line with both an Aqueon hood, and a Topfin branded hood. Most of my tanks, I just use separate 24/7 timed lighting bars, and never even plug in the built in hood lights - this makes the built in hood lights useful again, and there's value to that!

Simple but great value
Very simple but effective timer. You turn it on and select your ON duration and it’ll turn off when you asked and repeat the cycle from whatever time you turned it on last. There’s no timekeeping display but so far it’s been keeping time just fine. I didn’t look into compatibility but luckily it connected fine with my existing hood light. I also didn’t need more than one of them which makes the price an even better value.

I don’t know what to do with it
Wasn’t what I needed. No fault to the product. I just didn’t know what I was buying. I didn’t use it. Didn’t work for my connections.

Very basic timer! Turns on and off.
Super simple fish tank timer. Does it turn on every day at the time you originally set it at? Yes! Can it dim the light? Yes. It can only dim a small amount. So keep that in mind if you have a fancy lighting set up with sunset/sunrise settings. This WILl NOT work with those features. This turns the light on and off that is it. Sooo if you need a very basic timer this is it. The cost is perfect. If you need something that runs all the features of a more complex lighting system keep looking for something more. Works well but not for me
Easy to use and set up with my 3 gallon top fin tank. Timer and brightness adjuster work as they should all for a good price for two. My biggest complaint is that if timer mode is activated you cannot turn the light on or it cancels the timer function which is very inconvenient and has made me return it. Otherwise, good product if you don’t care to use the light after the timer turns it off.

Perfect for starter kits with no dimmer
Love this dimmer. We got the topfin aquarium starter kit with led lights built into the lid. They’re either on full blast or completely off. This dimmer switch allowed us to set it to just the right setting for a viewing and for the fish’s enjoyment

Good bargain
Easy setup but doesn't have sunrise/sunset. I also think it would be better if the timer had a 8 hour function vs. 6, 10 &12 hour.

Does the job perfectly. So glad that my fish aren't being blasted by the LED light any more. I'm using them in two Marina LED aquariums (5 and 10 gallon).

Work well for my aquarium. I like being able to dim the lights as I find them a bit too bright.
