An amazing product for teaching and learning computer science. I have been using it to teach basics of AI, and integration of coding with ChatGPT, and it has inspired and motivated my classes to take up computer science as a subject in GCSE KS4 in my school. A must have teaching tool for physcial implementation of programming and how coding can be visualised.

This is definitely not a beginner's project. The robot takes a while to assemble, though this is quite enjoyable in itself. The coding side is a definite step up from the other products in Matatalab's range, and would be a good follow-on from the Vinci Bot. I would say the age range of 12+ is about right. It's quite an investment; we have been using it for a couple of days and I can see a lot of potential for it to be good value once we get full use from it, but I can also see many kids being put off by the effort needed to get the best from it.

I have received this Nous AI bot, to review on behalf of Amazon. It arrived promptly and well packaged. My 2 boys and I were very excited to build and then use this. I had to use search online for a video to build this little guy. It took me about 30 minutes to build, and once done, I set it all up on my PC. Whenever I get this type of equipment, I always check to see if the firmware and/or software needs updating first. So using the supplied cable, and following all the guidance to check the firmware, I found it did in fact need a firmware update. So that's what I did. However, at 42% it timed out. I have no idea why it did this, so I tried again, and again at 42%, it timed out. That was it at that point, it wouldn't allow me to try again, and anyone familiar with this type of process, knows the outcome, its bricked. Nothing would work, I couldn't get it back into update mode. It was at this point I reached out to the manufacturer, hoping they would have some insight into my next steps, However, after about a week now, I have had nothing, no even an acknowledgement that they have had it. So that leaves me with no choice other than to give a 1 star. A bricked device and no product support.

Great educational toy for kids 12 and up, offering features like Scratch, Python, AI identification, and a camera. It’s a fantastic way to introduce programming and robotics, but it does take time to fully understand how everything works. The setup and learning curve might be a bit challenging at first, but it looks very promising as a STEM learning tool. With patience, it can be a great way for kids to explore coding and AI in a fun, interactive way

I found this to be a bit of a faff at first, getting it set up initially and then getting your head around it was a bit of a brain tickler but once it’s up and running it’s a pretty cool bit of kit. Perfect for the 12+ range, a great was to introduce robotics/coding etc.

Es un Kit muy versatil fuerte y prolijo. Con programación poderosa de IA en Scratch. Es una muy buena oportunidad de experimentar con TinyML en un entorno controlado.

An sich ein Tolles kleines Kit, die meisten teile bestehen aus Metall, somit sollte es auch Standhalten wenn es mal runter fällt. Recht Leichter Aufbau. Bedienungsanleitung und Bauplan sind je doch nur Online zu finden. Leider mangelt etwas die Deutsche Übersetzung und vieles ist noch English. Beim Aufbau des Roboters wollte ich mal das "Line Follower" testen, aber leider habe ich keine Exemplar Programme gefunden die einem Zeigen wie man so etwas Programmiert, bzw. wie mit Bausteinen zusammen baut. Das Kit selbst bietet 3 Aufbaumöglichkeiten somit kann man viel Basteln und Experimentieren. AI ist auch an Board, auch sehr Stark limitiert, verständlich da nur ein kleiner Mikrocontroller verbaut ist.

Pour un Papa fan de robotique et des enfants très cuirieux c'est le kit idéal ! L'ensemble est très qualitatif et tout est parfaitement expliqué. Mes enfants ont adoré le programmer, ils étaient fiers d'eux. Le kit est assez onéreux mais c'est justifié

This is quite a cute little coding robot. It can be a bit confusing to program, but I suppose that happens with advancing technology. I'm sure it would be a great teaching aid. If you have any kiddos interested in coding or AI, then this is a great little device to get them. It has a good quality feel to it, and it's quite durable which is good for kids.
