While I personally think these dolls are a bit odd, my daughter LOVED them, and they were a perfect addition for her mermaid themed birthday cake. One of the dolls did arrive with what looked like blue paint on its arms, and the long pink braids one did not come with a hat, but it blended in and all still looked cute on the cake. They're definitely worth the cheap price, and my daughter is excited to play with them now since they're done being cake decor!

I read the reviews before I ordered these so I wasn't expecting a high quality doll. These are cute cake toppers, not a barbie/toy type doll. Our daughter (6 yrs old) and a couple of friends did enjoy playing with them. The kids don't mind the oddness, they just see a toy. The hair is thin, but put into styles that cover it. There was one or two that had a slight gap on the body on the side where the plastic meets. I just snapped it back together and didn't have any problems with it. My one complaint is the mermaid with the hat. The hat is cute, but strange. It's covered in sequins, she looks like she's going out for lunch or heading to the mall for some shopping with the girls. I thought I'd just take the hat off, but it's' glued on pretty well and under the hair is very thin because the hairstyle was done flat for the hat. So the one was unusable for us. In the pic, I iced over the tails to make them different colors. They need quite a bit of icing where they sit to hold them in place as well.

These are SUPER cute!!! The colors will be mix and match. I still got 2 pink and 2 blue, but both blue were redheads and both pinks were brunettes. Instead of 1 of each like the photo. I also got the package and 1 of the mermaids was missing and arm. See far right mermaid's right arm missing. It was not in the package either. I'd love to return it and get what I paid for, but the return wouldn't get to me until 2 weeks after the party. So I'm stuck with 3 good mermaids. Very well made and perfect for what I want though. Just bummed I'm short one.

I searched for a cute mermaid cake topper, but most were overpriced card stock prints. I was so happy when I came across these! These mermaids dolls are great as cake toppers! Their faces are precious and their hair is beautifully fixed. After cake, we washed off their bodies and my girls have been playing with them ever since. Highly recommended for every little mermaid loving child!

These are cute and fun for water play or just for a little girl, my granddaughter couldn’t put them down. They’d be adorable on a cake as they’re sold for but I bought them for water play, they’re perfect. Seriously, for 9.99- killer deal!

Cheaply made but nice. Granddaughter loved them on her cake. I knew not to expect to much when i got them, but they worked wonderfully.

The dolls are beautiful so cute, I wish it included the hair band too! It was missing but they are very cute
