SpektrumNX8+ 20 Channel DSMX Transmitter Only, SPMR8210

I bought this as an upgrade from my NX6. My NX6 was purchased right when they were released by Horizon so I’ve had it quite a while and really enjoyed it. Some of my switches weren’t working all the time and the aileron gimbal was going out. No fault of the transmitter tho, it had been dropped multiple times and even slammed in a lift gate of a Yukon during a carjacking. The NX8 operates exactly like the 6 but has been he knob and more switches. All switches are 3 position on the NX8 as well. To make it a 20 channel transmitter just register it with Spektrum online and do the latest software update and then you’ve got 20 channels instantly! No need to pay more for an NX10 when the NX8 with software update does the same thing with same number of channels! I would recommend replacing the stock battery with the larger one from the NX10 like I did. Rarely ever need to charge it now.

Great radio. I have owned transmitters that cost 3 times as much. this guy does everything i could want in a Radio. I use it to program models from a Su-30 to Ugly stick, also large sailplane. no complaints. Buy this radio and save $$$. You can buy more expensive Transmitter if you want topline but i think its just because you can.

I had a DX-8 that I thought was amazing until I began flying with this beauty! Improved everything about every flight! So nice to control, easy to program, wi-fi is perfect for downloads, screen color selections, so much more! I love this and it now runs more than 8 channels who could ask for anything less!

There are transmitters, then there is this amazing transmitting receiving work of amazing technological art. This transmitter does so much more than just control your aircraft, this the NX8+ talks with your BNF Spectrum receivers and BNF Spectrum Aircraft give you up to the minute information, proper settings, proper configurations, and generally makes this hobby so much more enjoyable! I've had helicopters fly away, never to be seen again, all because some unknown programing glitch that was my own fault, took the helicopter out of my control before I could ground it. This solves all the issues of difficult to understand programing and adjusting that comes with all new aircraft and brings back to you the enjoyment and fun of flying the machines you buy!If you love to program, this machine has that too, with all the options you could hope for, this transmitter is an absolute beast when it comes to options. It now can control up to 20 channels by mixing and you no longer have to wonder if you got your settings right. The transmitter also gets telemetry back from specific receivers and if you have the telemetry modules, the amount of information you get back may mean the difference between a just-in-time landing, and a multi hundred dollar battery that can no longer keep a charge, or worse, an aircraft that does not land "rubber side down."Why did I only give this 4 stars? 1) I don't give out 5 stars easily, yet this machine does so much more than it originally intended, so 4+/5 stars? 2) this transmitter is far too light. The plastic feels cheap, the gimbals are good and the sticks are great, all the switches work well, but if the plastic is too thin and too light, this thing will not survive a 5 foot drop off a plane station. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not taking a lot of chances, and will be beefing it up with rubber bumpers and mounts.

I order a new radio but I got a relabeled (returned item). All tapes redone on top the original one. I paid for new but got a returned item. If you pay full dollars, you should get what you buy. Specially is it is $399.99
