It states very clearly that it doesn’t affect pets. The minute I turned it on, my cat started crying in pain and didn’t stop until I turned it off. I don’t blame this company, I researched these types of item for a few weeks. Every company says that their device doesn’t effect pets.. I’m not sure if this item is a lot louder than most, or if I have ridiculously sensitive cat. If you have pets, make sure the frequency isn’t effecting your pet. My cat, Kevin was very unhappy and really seemed to hurt him.

Item is good size for hiding and do the job. The sound is pretty loud and also have strobe light. Super easy to use basically connect where you wanted and leave working.
