Pretty comfortable. Doesn't flattened like some other bean bags over time. Pretty durable, its not going to rip easily and i have 5 kids I would know. I just wish it was bigger for the price.

I purchased this for my 9-year-old grandson. He said he loves it that it's comfortable, and it's easy to move.And his mom said it's easy to wipe down.

Very cute and great size for a child but it has some problems. The kids are small and don't weigh much, but the beans inside still got squished and the chair got very flat like a floor pillow. It was kept stationary and not moved around but the seams started to fray and come apart. I opted to refill it will strips of old clothes that were too ratty to donate and I got out the upholstery thread and needle and repaired it, so it is still in use and very well loved by the kids. The cloth strips actually helped give it some heft and weight to keep it from slipping around so much, so I accidentally found an improvement. The remaining beans shift to the top of the bag above the heavier cloth strips, so you get a squishy soft seat with a more sturdy base! Wish it didn't need so much tender love and care to keep in operation, but it is what it is. If you're willing to do the same amount of repair and upkeep then it's not bad.The double zipper that keeps the beans in is well-designed and more sturdily constructed. Hasn't ripped, hard to open and close (as it should be, don't want curious kids breaking in and spilling beans everywhere) so I am very happy with that.

Updated - 09/15 - I found out Big Joe has a one year Warranty on their products. I filled out a form with pictures and proof of purchase and they are sending me 4 replacement bean bag chairs for my classroom. I am impressed with the customer service.Updated 09/11 - all 4 of the Big Joe Black Bean Bags chairs I purchased in November of 2023 have ripped out on the bottom seams. They are not able to be repaired due to the fraying of the fabric. I am very disappointed they did not even last a year (they were only used in my classroom reading area for 6 months).
