Not a perfect fit to old/existing hardware. (specs change product is good)
A 2x4 really isn't a 2x4 today, specs change. My original rails were rusted out on the bottom allowing for the bottom roller to come out of the track. The new rail slots use 1/4" carriage bolts, not the previous larger size bolts. I went to Ace Hardware to pick up a few. The old "L" brackets attached to the side of the garage door did not line up with with the new rails, so I just repositioned the "L" brackets. I also bought new rollers too. The rail was about one inch too long (old door issue, not product) so I cut off 2 inches to keep it off the epoxy floor. The previous rails are original (30+ yrs), the new ones work fine. I ordered the pair, only one came, I contacted Amazon and had a new set the very next day. Things happen, it was resolved immediately, can't do any better than that, I'm happy.

Exact match
Exact replacement. Screws in with 1/4-20 phillips head. Original was connected using pop rivets to the L-brackets. 5/8" drill bit took care of those in two minutes for all 6. Knockouts removed easily. My overhead piece was a little low, so I had to trim off 1/8" at the bottom. Easy with a bi-metal blade in my 20V XR jigsaw. One bent L bracket unbent in vise and then sides touched up with a mallet. Total time was only about 30 minutes, plus running out machine screws.

Very sturdy and solid buy for the price!
Perfect replacement rails for rusted old ones. Could not find and exact height match so ordered these, knowing I would have to cut them which I did easily with a hacksaw and silicone spray. Construction of gavlanaized metal is of a very good gauge and seems plenty sturdy enough. Holes did not line up perfectly will old wall brackets so had to relocate them, which was no big deal, but did line up perfectly with holes in the same bracket that secures the rails that curve downward. Some holes I was concerned were too tight for the rib neck bolts so drilled them out some. Glad I found and bought these!

Exceptionally easy to install. All the screw holes in the right place. I'm 73 and did it by myself. Very happy with purchase .
