Amazing.
Gives such great insight into the degrees, and makes one really think about the solemn oath they took. This is an absolute “must buy” and one that I will endeavor to read multiple times a year.

Great Book For Masons
If you're a mason and haven't yet read Robert Lomas, I highly recommend checking him out! He offers in-depth analysis of our rituals that will make you see them in a whole new light.

An insight into the true meaining of the initiatory process
My congratulations to Brother Lomas. I read with pleasure this book from cover-to-cover in one sitting. Just excellent. While yes, Manly Hall wrote a book on Masonry, it was years before he was initiated---and it shows. While Harvey Lewis of Rosicrucian fame wrote books on Initiation he too was never a Master Mason. This is the first book written in a long time that describes what is really going on in the initiatory process. It applies to other systems as well as Masonry. He who finds this work boring really must not realize the insight into a sublime system that is revealed here. I'm now going through this little book and picking out some gems I can share with my brothers who are increasingly hungry for them.. I consider this a must for any thoughtful, reflective member of the Craft. I'm proud to have it on my shelf! Dr. Paul A. Clark, author of "Personal Fulfillment and the Laws of Consciousness" and co-author of "The Dark Brotherhood".

Another Great Robert Lomas Book Written by a Mason for Masons
I found this book phenomenal. I originally purchased it as an e-book and then had to buy it in hard copy. It deals only with the spiritual, mystical if you will, aspects of The Craft. I doubt it will be of any use to non-Freemasons or to Freemasons who are only of the fraternal, philanthropic, and/or collecting of offices and degree's ilk. While these are all valid pursuits in Masonry today, This book is not for them. If you are a Brother who thinks that there should be more, if you want more, This book, as well as some of his others is for you. Thank You.

Masonic Revelation
This book is an excellent revealing of the higher purposes of Freemasonry, rather than a history text. Additionally, it provides practical methods of manifestation in easy to read language.

Heartfelt
I found this to be some of Lomas' best writing. It seems a glimpse into the personal nature that initiation played in Lomas life. It is a quick read. It is not a difficult or lengthy book. The writing is solid and well thought out. I think it is a great gift type book for brand new Freemasons.

Perfect for the Esoteric minded Freemason!
This book is a necessity for all Mason's whom wish to contemplate the deeper, esoteric meanings of Freemasonry. It will go deeper down the Rabbit Hole. It will mean little to the uninitiated or profane. For those who desire to join the Fraternity I suggest you wait to be initiated before you read it and complete all three degrees and your proficiency examinations.
