Bought these for a pair of hiking boots that I wear everywhere, the constant use has seen the original plastic aglets mangled which I replaced with shrink wrap that fell off. These were a little fiddly to get on and I maybe didn't make the tidiest job of crimping them but months later they're still stuck firm and aren't even scratched.They're a little longer than the usual plastic aglets and of course are very stiff which is a bit odd at first but I highly recommend them if the ends of your shoelaces are becoming frayed.

Sorted a set of laces that had started to grt frayed ends on a pair of Sportiva boots with specialist laces (difficult to replace) - win win - fitted OK but don't be overenthusiastic with the crimping.
