I wanted a Protein shaker bottle as I've started having protein shakes after a run and they haven't been mixing that well, but I can't be bothered to use a blender.This particular one is very reasonably priced at the time of writing and holds 500ml. There's a bunch of other tubs and bits included in the box, some with screw threads that I finally worked out screw onto the bottom of the main unit and can be used to hold protein powder or other small items and supplements when travelling with it. There were no instructions to help with the use, but the listing reveals all.The spring attachment for mixing just sits in the top and there's a chunky screw top lid. I actually found the flip section of the cap quite stiff and awkward to use, but there were no leaks anywhere.I tested it with a protein powder that usually mixes particularly badly. Mixing in this shaker it blended perfectly. The graduations on the side were great for adding the right amount of liquid too. There's no nasty smell anywhere and it all works really well. I found it easy enough to clean after use.I won't be needing the extra compartments, and just unscrew the lid for drinking so this works perfectly for my needs as I'm only using it at home.

Its a two section bottle with good space. I like it. I can use it for my gym workout.

At the time of review this K-MART protein shaker bottle is £5.99 and to be quite honest it looks like it - being totally plastic. But...it works really well.The bottle arrives with all the extras contained in the cup itself. First up is some extra sections that screw onto the bottom of the cup for storing snacks (like nuts etc.). I personally have no use for this but it's a nice option. The other part is the mixer. I've never used a cup with one of these before and it's actually really cool. It basically looks like a 'slinky spring' that you have placed across the top of the cup. When you shake it - the spring bounced up and down into your drink to mix it up. I'd imagine this is awesome for protein mixtures - I personally make my own (milk, fruit, peanut butter) and it works great for this. I thought it would be quite messy but it's actually quite easy to clean too.No leaks with the cup so far but I would always store it upright just in case.Fairly priced - recommended.

Its a budget protein shaker and it works OK. The extra storage is useful, then I asked myself "will I use it" I put my powder in at home and add water as I leave the gym. This is good if you use just one container for "in gym" drink and "after training" shake. It only holds 500ml of liquid, I prefer a full litre for the gym and use double what most shakes recommend. If 500 ml is enough for you and you only need one bottle then consider this.Quality is acceptable, it is spill proof as you shake it, it is not easy to clean but not the worst I have used.I hope you find my review helpfulMy reviews follow this star rating:1 Star; Very unsatisfactory product. No qualms with this at all.Two compartments that screw off, can be used for various things, one is split into 3. Maybe powder or daily vitamins? I used mine for powder to take with me for refills.Bottle itself holds around 500mls. Flip top lid is a bit stiff, but works as there are no leaks when it is shut. The little metal thing that attaches to the lid is for blending, and it actually helps a lot with getting the clumps of powder out. Easy to remove afterwards and clean.Good value for what it is.

This shaker comes with a couple of extra screw on containers for the bottom that you can use for supplements or nuts etc. It's not initially obvious what these are and you need to refer back to the product page to be sure. The shaker holds 500 ml, which is kind of a minimum volume you might need, so check that it's adequate for your needs.As it's a bit of a budget price I wasn't sure how good it would be, but it actually works very well. The insert ensures that your protein powder is well mixed and the container doesn't leak. It's reasonably easy to clean afterwards and the bits can be popped in the dishwasher.It's a nice shaker at a good price. There are better ones around but not at this price, so overall I'm pleased with it.

My daughter needed a shaker for her protein powder so I thought this might be suitable. It has a lot of compartments including two for supplements and to holder extra powder. I think one or two less would have been better. I loved the spring attachment to aid mixing up powders although I’m not sure it really helps much. The lid cap was initially hard to open but after a few times of opening and closing is fine. The cup itself holds up to 500ml of fluid which is ample for my daughter but may be a factor if you require more volume. £5.99 for a shaker is decent but with all these extras make it very good value.

If I could give this K-MART Protein Shaker Bottle a no star rating I would.The steel spiral mixing part doesn't sit on the top of the shaker cup/bottle but goes sort of halfway down inside it... then as you shake your concoction, it rattles about in there and is supposed to foam your protein drink but it doesn't dissolve the powder and you get lumps at the bottom of the shaker cup... It would equally foam inside any plastic tumbler with a lid on if you put a plastic part inside that too - or even a marble!It might not leak when you shake it but watch out when you go to take a swig... there's no air hole in the lid so it gushes out. A smaller hole with a straw would've been so much better.The screw-on attachments are just silly really and if you have to take a protein powder with you to make a shake anywhere other than your home, why not take a bottle of water along too? I mean, you'd be taking supplements and powder, so why not take the kitchen sink too? Hmm...I would not recommend this item.
