Keys double typing after 18 months - Logitech quality has gone down
=== latest update - 2020-09-22 === after 18 months of usage, some keys started to double type. slowly, many more keys have become unusable. when I pay Rs 6K for a keyboard, i expect it to work fine atleast for 3-5 years !!! Having issues after 18 months of usage is not acceptable. Similar issue with my G603 mouse, which was Rs 5K . The first mouse had the double click issue, so got it replaced under warranty. Now the replacement mouse has started to have the Scroll issue after 8 months of usage. Surprisingly, the cheaper stuff from Logitech works fine for long. Maybe they are just not competent to make premium products. === Below review from March 2019, after a year of utilization === really awesome wireless keyboard. Keys are not very loud. Media keys work as expected. The macro keys can be programmed to perform repeated sequence of actions. You can type pretty fast with no problems at all. Connectivity is excellent. I have been using this from mar 2018, and have never switched it off. The original battery is still going strong. Ergonomically also it is well designed with a built in wrist support. It is not very portable though, coz of its slightly big size compared to regular keyboards. But if you type all day, this is highly recommended.

Excellent Multi-Wireless Mechanical Keyboard
Initial impressions: > Excellent Build Quality (even with a plastic build). A steel backplate inside the keyboard makes it very sturdy. It should easily handle at least 2-2.5 years of good pounding! People might get upset(I was too, initially.) that the keyboard doesn't have an aluminum finish (like the g512/513) on the top but the problem here is the weight of the device. It's already quite heavy(not uncomfortable though), adding an aluminum case would make it too heavy and definitely uncomfortable. Also, don't worry about the plastic casing, there is almost no flex at all because of the steel backplate and good quality plastic. > Romer-G Tactile Switches provide a comparatively quiter typing experience while providing tactile feedback and a faster response time. I am just a beginner with mechanical keyboards so I would add some detailed typing experience here after using the keyboard extensively. > 2.4GHz Wireless and Bluetooth connectivity is flawless(no missing keystrokes, no connection loss) and easily connects with Windows, Linux, Android (not just bluetooth, I have also tested the lightspeed 2.4GHz receiver on the phone using OTG) and even my Orange Pi Plus 2E. Here, I am talking about general connectivity and not the latency, which anyway I didn't feel but I think that (claimed 1ms) can be proved only after some intensive gaming. > Note for some people: The lightspeed 2.4GHz receiver is not a unifying receiver. Also if you buy G603 you would have to connect both the lightspeed receivers. Sources say that logitech is looking forward to a unifying-lightspeed receiver but for now both of them have to connected to the PC. > The price is a comparatively decent for wireless mechanical keyboard with a long(claimed) battery life > Con: I think logitech should have at least included some plain backlighting(if not RGB) at this price point. Not to be fancy, just to be more useful. You can always have an OFF switch to preserve the battery if you want. I will provide an update on the battery and the low quality labels on the key-caps after a few months. Note: Don't forget to update the firmware of this keyboard after you buy it.

No Durability, please don’t buy this product.
I bought this keyboard as I was looking for a wireless keyboard mouse so I can game on my living rooms big screen. The moment I bought this I was enjoying playing with it. Never realise any lag so tech behind it is super awesome. Unfortunately this fun didn’t last long. In couple of months my keyboard started skipping key press and key chattering issues. Still I was ignoring it as my WASD And other main gaming keys were working fine. Just to be clear I was using this keyboard only for playing games when I am home (10-12 hrs a week). Soon after my A and W keys and E keys started giving me the same issue. One day I open a notepad and tested all keys and noticed 60% of keys were facing this issue and in real scenario the keyboard become useless. That day I realised I have spend 6k for this worthless product. Currently we are in lockdown and product is still under warranty, so I was checking the warranty online on the Logitech’s website. I have entered my keyboarders serial number in the product finder and got shocked to find that this serial number belonged to basic wireless keyboard mouse combo of Logitech. I really don’t know what’s going on and if I will be able to claim it’s warranty or not. Here is my personal advise, please don’t buy this product (I know it’s tempting for any gamer to buy this and this is how I fell for it)

Wireless and Mechanical Keyboard
Very few options available for mechanical + wireless keyboard. Probably one of the best mechanical + wireless keyboard available. - Key response is perfect and no first-key-press lag. claimed 1MS response rate using lightspeed wireless technology. Gaming is pretty much perfect as compared to wired keyboard. - Does not make significant key press sound as mechanical keyboards are known for that. - RomerG Key-switches are not the best when compared to CherryMX (Personal opinion). - Key label / sticker quality is average. - Palm rest is nice. But it's non-detachable. A boon for peeps who like doing non-gaming activities on mechanical keyboard. - 18 months Long battery life claimed. Should do well if lasts 12+ months. - Only competitive feature missing is absence of back-lighting keys. But given it's wireless, AA battery run, with - claimed - long battery life I believe it makes sense to omit this feature. However Re-Chargeable (Via USB) + Wireless + Mechanical + Back-lit does seam a promising option as well. - 6 programmable keys can be configured using LGS (Logitech Gaming Software). Download available at Logitech web-site. - Key board is bulky and does not slide from it's position once set. - Included in box is a Cell-phone stand, of a sturdy quality as well. On-board Bluetooth button allows switching between PC and Phone/Tablet typing with a press of a button once Bluetooth configured with device. - Odd (round) shaped volume and media buttons, do not pose well on with all square keys on board. Nothing deal-breaking though. - Since it's officially released in India by Logitech, 1 year domestic warranty from Logitech. Product registered successfully on Logitech website. Warranty helps a lot when it comes to costly and hi-tech Keyboard and mouse.

A very versatile keyboard but still some more room for improvements
Pros : 1. Excellent build quality. 2. Keys are mechanical and comfortable to use and produce less noise when typing so good option for productivity. 3. Can connect to multiple devices through USB or Bluetooth by click of button. 4. I initially ran into an issue where Keyboard stopped working after 1 week of use. But Amazon quickly sent a replacement within few days. Cons : 1. No backlight. Based on the price I think this should have been there. 2. I think arm support should be a attachment type, than being fixed in the Keyboard. Overall, one of the best keyboards out there but best to buy during discounts.

Malfunctioned within a year. Twice!
I write for a living. So a good keyboard is extremely important to me. I bought this with great hopes, but the product malfunctioned in a year. Some keys didn't register keystrokes, others registered multiple presses even when pressed once. For example, Logitech would come out as LLogtcchh. Went to the service center. They checked and replaced, no questions asked. But the replacement keyboard AGAIN MALFUNCTIONED WITHIN A YEAR!!! Same problem! Also, left CTRL works only sometimes. (Imagine the horror if you're working on an Excel file and you have no idea if your CTRL key will work.) WTF, Logitech? Pros: Very clicky keys. Might not be Cherry Mx, but RomerG's tactile feel is a good replacement. G-keys are very handily placed. Bluetooth + wireless. I loved the seamless switching from messaging on the phone to the desktop. Palm rest is very helpful and comfortable. Batteries last forever! No RGB (personal preference). Cons: Slightly heavy. One year expiry, apparently. Apart from this, there's literally no other con, personally speaking.

Keyboard does suffer from chatter!
I have been using this product for about a year now and as other users have experienced, this keyboard does suffer from chatter i.e. randomly, keys will register multiple strokes even if you press them once. This situation becomes worse when you login to a remote desktop to do your office work, rendering this keyboard virtually unusable. I have even tried removing each key, vacuuming the base and fixing the keys again, but to no avail. Fortunately, there are keyboard chatter softwares available, which delete multiple keystrokes registered above a certain threshold, set by the user. This makes the keyboard work as good as new through it may not help in the remote desktop setting. For those of you who are not using this keyboard in a remote desktop setup, pls give the keyboard chatter softwares a go.

After a years usage the keyboard is still going strong
I got this keyboard basically for gaming and it works best in that scenario. I have been using this keyboard for a year now and no issues yet. Only issue is the letters on the keys are not of the best quality. I lost 'D' letter partially but just 1 letter. Never had connectivity issues. Batteries that came with the keyboard still work and i haven't changed them, i the keyboard is always in gaming mode mind you which is power consuming. My only complain here is I am unable to deep clean it by removing the key caps, one of the reasons can be it does not come with a keycap puller. Overall a good buy for me Edit Jan 2021 I have started facing issues now with multiple key registers and space bar failing to work at times. My ‘n’ key has a mind of its own. I tried to remove the keys and clean it but to no success. It still is the same. Many people have faced this issue so I think this might be a design issue itself
