First the good things about this curling wand:* Heats up quickly* Easy to use* Extra long barrel for long hair* Pretty color* Has a built-in stand to keep it stable on the counter* Comes with a heat-resistant glove for klutzes like meCons:* Length makes it a little unwieldy* The power/temperature control button is right where I hold the wand, so I keep pressing the button while I use it* The only way to turn it off is unplugging it(?)All that said, I wonder what's so special about the oval barrel. I curled one side with this wand and the other side with a round wand (same temperature setting, about the same diameter). I showed my husband, and he thought both sides looked the same. I thought maybe the oval wand made looser waves, but I could have just been hoping to find a difference. My hair is only shoulder-length, so maybe it isn't long enough to have much difference.Anyway, it's a nice curling wand that would be great with someone with long hair.

So I was not sure if I would like this Curling Iron or not. I tend to dislike the style like this where they are missing the clamp to hold one end of the hair so it is easy to twist. But this one I actually like the cute and effective heat resistant glove they include with the set. It doesn't feel as bulky or unnatural to wear as some of those heat resistant gloves do, plus it is a pretty color- so already with that , I liked this set better. I was worried that I would find the extra long barrel on the iron unwieldy or hard to wrangle, but I came to the conclusion actually that extra length makes it easier to wrap hair around. I have shorter medium length hair and I could tell if I had longer hair that added length would be awesome!! I loved the Beachy waves . What I will say is that it was way easier to get good results on only one side of my head, the opposite side was harder to figure out what direction to wrap the hair to get good waves. I think though that there is just a learning curve there and I need to experiment with it a bit more. I love that this Curling Iron has a stand built in to keep it from touching the counter top, but it sits very very low, so I think a heat resistant mat is probably a good idea to use with this. Also, I couldn't get the power button to shut the Curling Iron off at all, so I think that you just are supposed to simply unplug it when you are done. The power button turns it on and scrolls through several temperature settings , but no "off." Not even with a " long hold" of the button. Great Curling Iron though, I was so pleasantly surprised by this.

Doesn’t really give the bombshell look like advertised or maybe i haven’t gotten the learning curve down either way i wasn’t very impressed

This curling wand works as expected, nothing really special to note. I am not exactly sure why it is priced at this price point. I used it with no issues and it worked great on my long (mid-back length), very thick hair. It is a very large, long-barreled curling iron so it does take up more space, especially if traveling. Overall, it did as expected, just not sure it's worth it compared to other curling irons on the market.

I have very long hair so an extra long barrel is essential. I've never used an oval shaped tool before, but the curls didn't turn out much different than with my traditional round tools, so I was happy about that. The iron gets very hot and very quickly. I did notice I kept bumping the buttons on the handle because of their placement, but it didn't seem to change the temperature as long as I didn't hold it down. Overall I really like it.

This curling iron is long and wide. It doesn't have a 'clamp' to hold the ends but they do provide a glove so you can hold it. Overall, it did an okay job of waving my hair, but it probably would have worked better for someone who is adept at holding and curling at the same time. I prefer the irons with clamps and didn't realize this would be much harder. I do like the length as I can get more of my hair curled at once.

Absolutely love this curling iron! It heats up superrrr fast! It is also very easy to operate. This barrel is perfect for longer hair. I love that it comes with a glove to protect your hand. It also has automatic shut off which definitely comes in handy for me! I definitely recommend you purchase!!!

Professional long barrel wand curler. Its very precise and curls to perfection. Curls are very loose. Easy to handle. Curls came out huge. Pretty pink color. Good heat settings. Good value!!
