Perfect Phone Mount for Traveling
I really love this mount for carrying my phone when riding. The mount has never let the phone even slip position on a 1999 Harley Sportster. I went on a 10 mile trip and no issues. It has a charging cable with an on/off switch if you wish to hook it up or not. I did not, but it could be covenient . Please don't let the plastic build fool, or deter you from acquiring this product. If anything I believe it's a plus because of how light and easy it is to remove every time you ride. I just leave the bar mount on all the time. You can add the phone bracket in any position with your phone as easy as applying 1 knurled screw. Very Nice and easy to use device. I highly recommend this product.

The mount has a very small on and off switch next to where you plug the phone cord in.
The phone mount holds my phone very secure while going down the highway on the handlebars of my Harley motorcycle. I didn't think the mount worked for charging my phone and had a problem with it until I spoke with the seller. The mount has a small on and off switch next to where you plug your phone in that isn't very visible and doesn't say much in the instructions so I cut the wire off and just use it as a mount. Then after speaking with the seller and them telling me that it has a on/off switch, the seller sent me a new mount which works perfect and agreed that their instruction should have a little more to them. The mount is well worth the money if you need something to hold your phone or small GPS. And the seller went out of their way for good customer relations.

Works well.
I mounted this holder on my Honda CB500F. I like how this mount holds all four corners of my phone and turns sideways to allow me full view of my instrument panel. I roughed up the ball socket to give it a little more friction but everything stays in place quite well, even over rail road tracks. I am a little curious about the long term durability of this plastic holder but so far its worked well.As far as the USB wiring, was going to try and tie the power leads into a circuit that was only on when the key was on but my moto harnesses are a little difficult to get to without making it look messy. Since there is a switch next the USB port, I ended up terminating it directly to the battery terminals. I did add an ATA fusible link between the battery and the charger wiring though. Since the wire I routed to the battery was near the top of the engine, I didn't want to worry about the small wire from the charger melting and shorting out causing an issue.

Hasn’t worked from the day I bought it.
I purchased this for my Harley motorcycle, hooked it all up and no matter what I do it won’t charge my cell phone. I have tested the power all the way up to the unit and it has power.

Breaks easily
First one had problems with the usb port after about 2 months. I opened it up to find a very small plastic "nub" holds the port in place but broke off. I tried to superglue it but nothing worked. Ordered another one. This time I preemptively took it apart and using an epoxy glued the port supports as support. They shouldn't break now. Time will tell. If you plug and unplug the cable into the port it will eventually happen. The port supports are literally 1mm thick. If you leave the cable in and just unplug from your phone it will last longer. Everything else works well, clamps well, charges, etc.

You have to buy this if you own a motorcycle
This phone holder is amazing especially if you ride a motorcycle long distance or for postmates. I have been on the highway for about 35+ miles doing 90 at the least but mostly 100+ forgot to lock in and it stayed. I own a note 9 if it matters. Didnt even realize till I got off the highway. Also I have been in pouring cant see more then a couple feet in front of you rain for about 35 miles and the charging still works perfectly fine. My bike its garaged kept most of time due to me being lazy and tired after work and I stay in Florida and it has proven it self to withstand all mother nature has to offer.

Easy enough to install and holds well
Have been using this as a phone holder for months now, have used it in all kinds of terrain from rocky/bumpy off-road to streets and it holds well. User must remember to lock the back of the device each time in use though, if it is not locked it will not hold your phone for long.Install was simple. Item fit snugly on the handlebar and required a simple connection to the battery terminals. If one does not know how to connect an item to your battery, best to get help on this part.

Does not wireless charge
Used in a boating environment and setup easily. Needed to be creative with bolting to dash. Work well at holding the phone, but very disappointing to not have the wireless charging.
