This DVD player is a great size if you have limited space next to your TV - like we do!I connected it to the same sockets (TV and HiFi) as our old one had been, and had nothing to do in set-up mode... it worked straight away!Comes with a good selection of cables.Disc operation is very quiet. Sound and picture quality are really good and the remote is responsive with lots of functions including loop/repeat play, zoom, slow motion, all of which work very well and are quick to engage.If there's a disc format that it won't play, then it's not one we have! Needless to say, it also plays CDs.It looks good too, with a black high-gloss finish, but doesn't distract when placed next to the TV.We're very pleased with it.

If like me you have a load of world cinema DVDs ( Japanese) that are not available to stream etc then this is perfect. Its footprint is not much bigger than a CD case and it works perfectly.My only gripe is that it needs the remote and I am rather tired of the amount of remotes I seem to be collecting

Size means it can easily be accommodated. Larger one had to be in cupboard and then doors had to be left open to operate. Works well, just have to appreciate it doesn’t have an eject facility so you have to take cd out by hand. Happy with this machine

This cheap, small but good dvd player is small enough to be able to move around the house as its compact, light and simple and easy to use. My daughter loves how portable it is and is perfect for small shelves to go on. It doesn't get hot and is pretty quiet, modern and simple enough for anyone to use. Will be buying another one of these.

Wow just had this delivered and within a couple of minutes of opening it I was playing a Christmas cd which I was pleasantly surprised how good it sounded. I then tried a DVD which was also great quality. I'm over the moon with this brilliant little dvd/cd player and what a fantastic price too £28 !!!

Not worth purchasing!Reads DVDs that it wants, keeps making the screen go blank and isn't a very good picture. I'm sending this back after 30 minutes of trying to see if I'd done something wrong! I hadn't!!No, it's going back!!

Bought this to keep in my caravan and its small and mighty, great little device, very easy to set up and use and lovely and compact for a small space. Nice and quiet too.Very happy with it.
