These are adjustable to fit both the height of the box springs and mattress. The metal that goes under the mattress is long and very secure, especially with the strap, and the feet on the side keep the rail from tipping.This is very helpful for getting in and out of bed, and getting your balance after getting out of bed, and it seems like we've had it forever already!

Bedrail is well crafted. High quality materiels. Easy to assemble & easy to install under mattress. My husband is currently recovering from back surgery and weighs about 220 lbs. Rail supports his weight & pressure when getting out of bed. I especially like the added support the adjustable legs provide. The suction cups add stability against slip resistance. Highly recommend. This guardrail has been a life saver. My disabled husband protested when I first ordered it but every morning he is singing its praises. It was easy to install and adjust to our bed height and so very very sturdy. My husband weighs 240 pounds and because of age, injuries and dozens of surgeries has a hard time getting from his wheelchair into and out of bed. This guardrail has been a game changer. Because of the sturdy legs he is able to put his full weight on it to support him getting into bed and again when he pulls up to get out.It has given me peace of mind in the middle of the night when he sits up to use the restroom because he had fallen out of bed several times before we got this rail. Now he has something to hold onto. The light wasn’t the reason I bought this product but it would definitely be a factor now. It is the perfect brightness in the middle of the night to let him see where everything is by his bed. It goes out after a bit but if he needs it longer it comes back on with the wave of his hand.In this day and time to find a product that is well made, safe, very sturdy, easy to install and so very functional is rare. I would recommend this product to anyone. Five stars for sure.

Needed it once my 92 yo mother was released to home care following hospital stay. Arrived quickly, very easy to set up and adjust under mattress. Very stable and sturdy. Only downside was flimsy light that seemed to have a mind of its own. Instruction sheet for light required a magnifying glass!

PRO: Assembly was pretty intuitive. CON: The strap was not long enough for a FULL SIZE bed, so we had to tie that onto the bedframe on the opposite side. I needed this for a back surgery recovery. It is sturdy enough for me to use to pull myself up while using the log roll (if you know, you know!). The light is a great idea....but CON: the charging chord is about 4 inches long. Taking it out and moving it to a charger is just plain inefficient. Currently trying to find a chord long enough to reach power source to light location (but it does not seem to be a standard connector....we'll see.)So, overall, it works to safely get me up for midnight restroom runs....will be better when I find a better light solution!! I would buy it again.

I had just gotten out of the hospital from having colon surgery and did not want my husband to have to help me out of bed every time I needed to get up. This was so perfect sturdy. I could pull myself up and it also helps me to reposition myself when I get back in bed. Even though I'm almost healed from my surgery, I love having it and don't plan on taking it out from between my mattress. For anyone who needs help getting in and out of bed, I definitely would suggest this.

Excellent bed rail for anyone that needs assistance in/out of bed. Bought this for my bed due to hip replacement surgery & i love the light on the side that lights up with motion when getting up in the middle of the night! Excellent support for me!

Item was brand new. Assembling instructions were clear and intuitive to assemble. Extended the warranty via email and customer support was very swift and helpful. Would strongly advise to measure bed height and compare with measurements on the advertisement before purchase. 100% would recommend.
