Onitsuka Tiger NEW YORK

Tigers are almost the only athletic shoes I buy. Every couple years, I'll try out something else, but I'm always most enamored with my Tigers. They last and last, for years. They're comfortable and lightweight, they don't cause foot/leg/hip/back problems. They're awesome and I love how they look on me. Will keep buying these until I'm a billionaire and can afford laser feet.

Real contender for the most comfortable, photogenic shoes I’ve ever owned. They wear like slippers and they look *extremely* retro and cool. They go awesome with everything I wear and don’t crush my toes on my wide feet - important maybe to note that I bought a half-size up. My new defaults. 15/10

These shoes are beautiful and so comfortable. The fit is true to size.

The only reason I bought these shoes was because I just finished reading the book "Shoe Dog" about the story of the founder of Nike and how these are the shoes he originally imported from Japan. I thought it might be cool to have "the other" shoe. The top is made from this strange plasticky material that's actually easy to clean but it does look a little strange when you move your toes inside.The shoes are VERY comfortable though. Not in a special ergonomic way, they're not trying too hard they're just naturally comfortable. You put them on and immediately forget them for the rest of the day.I'm on board.

Great design light weight and cool color combo

I have had multiple foot surgeries and have hardware in both feet. These shoes are the best feeling for long periods of time. Hands down really. I bought them on vacation when I needed to replace a worm pair and now I have 4 pairs of this shoe. Really excellent for comfort. I go to my group fitness classes at Barry’s- no problem , I travel in these, super great for foot swelling on long haul flights- these are just plain engineered well! Love how fresh they can get after a delicate cycle in the wash. Lots of compliments.Two critiques: the toe can rub and what starts as a small hole can become much bigger. That is my sign to get another pair. If you are easy on shoes you probably won’t have this problem.I find the ankle support lacking in this shoe and find that I twist or misstep and roll my ankle more frequently in this shoe- so just be careful with a loose lacing. They look better snug too!

Some co-workers and friends are very into Asics and Tigers, I was worried these would be to stiff and hurt my feet but to mu surprise its the opposite, so they are stylish and comfortable. I am hoping to try more tigers out in the future knowing there are options.

True to size. Average comfort level- not super cushy.
