I used to get plagued with woodlice in my garage .....not now !!!!!

Iv had a woodlice issue for a few months now after moving in to a house that's been empty for almost two years. Iv tried various products but this one from ready steady defend is by far the best Iv tried.The woodlice powder comes in a 250g plastic bottle that has a shake out top making it easy to apply to the area where it's needed. Iv used it mostly under the kitchen cabinets behind the plinths and iv noticed a bit difference in the amount of woodlice I got around the house each morning Iv found dead woodlice on the floor but it's not completely stopped them so far only time will tell. This woodlice powder is definitely fast acting and I think it's good value.My only gripe is that is comes in a big bottle that only half full of powder in there they should either fill the bottle or just use a smaller bottle.Recommended product.

Big surprise it actually works

The container that this comes in is about half filled, so it could be significantly reduced, especially in this day and age when many of us are concerned about the amount of plastic in our environment. I consider this to be a big negative.The powder is easily dispensed. We used it outside, and as we had been in a spell of hot dry weather did not check the forecast. A storm removed and washed away all traces, so we have now applied a second application. IT will take time to see if this powder can have a significant effect on the woodlice that seem to cover our outside walls, making their way to our loft on a nightly basis, but we remain hopeful.

This will help to remove the wood lice from my aging shed so that I can start on repairing the wood,It has DE (Diatomaceous earth) in it as well so it will remove any other insects .The container has air in it so that you can puff the powder out to get into cracks etc easily.

I am really pleased to receive this 250G, Woodlice Killer Powder from "Ready Steady Defend". The main reason being, that Summer has most certainly ended now (Mid September 2024) with what feels like a Summer that only lasted a few weeks, and the rain has been quite constant again, as it was last year, and the likes of my wooden shed, metal shed, greenhouse, conservatory (in fact anything with wooden sides or a wooden floor) has had a new bombardment of woodlice.This powder is perfect, not only because you can see where it has been applied, but it puts an end to the damage also caused by these woodlice pests, which seem to "blacken" wooden areas of sheds, garages, attics etc.Whilst of course, the product cannot repair damage caused by these woodlice, it will, once applied, stop them in their tracks causing further damage, and it certainly lasts a fair amount of time too.The makers "Ready Steady Defend" also say, the powder kills Eggs, Kills Larvae and of course killsWoodlice.In their instructions, they said "once the powder is applied, allow the powder to remain in place for as long as possible to achieve maximum effectiveness. You can also use the convenient 'puffer bottle' to apply the powder directly to entry points, trails, nests, cracks and crevices to block access points."The makers also say, "After 5-7 days, sweep away or vacuum the treated areas, and reapply the powder again to maintain control over the woodlice population"Included are some images of the woodlice powder in and out the packing, and also in use in one of several areas around me, specifically in my wooden shed, metal shed, and conservatory corners.

They are the most gently creatures that eat dead and decaying matter. Yes that might include your shed or wood outside, but it's a natural process and all part of the garden biodiversity. Woodlice are food for the birds and other garden creatures.That's said - this is just a pack of DE - it doesn't only kill woodlice, it will kill all sorts of other creatures. I ordered it for the red mite that sometimes attack my hens, it's the same ingredients as all of the Ready Steady Defend DE range, you don't need a separate product for everything, it all is the same with a different label. The bottle is half full - because it is a puffer pack and you need some space to puff!! You only get one pack. Not two (as in the image). So yes this works but no woodlice are not pests and yes you can use this DE for other purposes if necessary. But remember that most 'pests' are a meal for something else. So use with caution and do not breathe this in.

Woodlice Killer Powder 250G - Effective Woodlice Killer Indoor & Outdoor - Fast ActingWe have a Woodlice problem in and outside our home so we are trying this powder and the spray version also to try and get them under control.The powder comes in a 250g bottle and is easy to apply, I've gone around the outside of the house and sprayed it into all the air bricks and in any gaps around sink/bath pipes etc and so far since doing it we haven't seen any Woodlice.My only negative is that it comes in a huge bottle that is only around 60 percent full, I appreciate the contents will settle but not by over 40 percent, this is a big waste of packing, other powders I have had in the same size bottle have 400-500g inside them, but other than that at £9.99 at the time of reviewing it seems a bit expensive but if it does the job it's well worth it!
