Not necessary! This is an all-in-one tub paint, you just need to wait for the full cure time of 7 days (the time it takes for the new finish to reach its maximum hardness) before taking a hot bath.

Do i need to tape off the drain in the tub before pouring/brushing? will it clogg up the drain if I don't?

Do i need to get an extra roller and brush for each coat?

No, you don't need to, You can soak your tools in water after use to keep them from drying out so you can reuse them.
