Well made, easy to use, but with a fatal flaw
This is important: The tray does not hold a full-sized keyboard and mouse — see picture. It's well made, works nicely, and is easy to assemble, but unfortunately you can't use a full-sized keyboard without having it shoved over to the left side ... and that defeats the ergonomics! If you're a lefty, have a smaller keyboard, or don't mind having the monitor off to the side of your vision, you should be fine. Sadly, though, it wouldn't work for me.

After nearly a year, loving it even more
How many products get better a year later?I was having some ergonomic issues using the Kangaroo Pro. Placing it on my desktop, and my keyboard and trackball on top of it, in the seated position it required my chair to be higher than it can (in order for my arms to be level while typing or using the trackball). So I bought a cushion which raised me higher in the chair, but that required me using a foot rest as my feet were now off the ground. But, ok, workable while seated. (In a standing position, the KP has always been fine for me.) But after about 6 months of this, I really started to be bothered with the whole setup. I just wasn't comfortable when seated. So back to my original position (which I had abandoned on day one as I thought it unworkable), which was using a drop down keyboard shelf which fits under my desk. So my seated position could be brought down to a normal level -- no more seat cushion, no more foot rest. But the keyboard shelf extends in front of the desk, which means I have to sit further away from the desk and monitor than before. However, the KP does not have any way of adjusting the monitor horizontally (that is, to bring it closer in, as I now needed it to be). So I used it like that for several months, always wishing the monitor could be about 6" closer to me (when seated). Finally I decided to write Ergo Desktop, to see if I could replace the monitor arm with one that could adjust horizontally. It turns out that there are inexpensive monitor arm extensions that can bring the monitor closer by 4" or 8". But what about while I was standing? I didn't want the monitor closer when standing -- it was already close enough. Solution again provided by Ergo Desktop: 2 extensions of the same size (in my case, 4") can be folded in on each other, bringing the monitor back to where it would be without the extensions. After using the extensions for a few weeks, I found the KP now almost perfect for me. The only remaining nit was that when seated, the monitor was now a little too high, as the monitor extensions added about 3" vertically. So even adjusting the monitor down all the way on the KP, the monitor was just a few inches higher than I'd like. I wrote Ergo Desktop, just to let them know the extensions were working out well for me, and mentioned this. And was surprised to find there was a solution for this problem, too! A little adjustment on the KP itself brought the minimum monitor height down about 2", which means it's now perfect for me.The quality of the KP itself is very high. It seems like it will withstand years (if not decades) of use. Now I know the customer service of Ergo Desktop is also outstanding, and I am one very happy customer!

Excellent customer service
I don't have any experience with other stand-up desktops, but I really love this one. I have the "hybrid pro," which allows me to have a mounted monitor and also a shelf so I can use my laptop as a second monitor. What really stands out about the product is the great customer service I received while setting it up. I called two times and had a very minimal wait and an incredibly helpful assistant both times. I was not calling because it was overly difficult to assemble, but because I ordered mine with the laptop shelf on the left and it turns out I wanted it on the right. It was no problem to switch sides and the person on the phone was very patient and skillful in giving me directions for how to do so.The only drawback with this product I can see might be for people that really pound on their keyboards when they type. The prop helps, but the whole unit still bounces a bit when I'm really typing quickly. I am not a pounder, so it is not a problem for me, but I can see how it might be for others.

Great product solves the problem at a great price!
This product works as shown on the company web-site video and goes from sit to stand easily, securely and safely without strain in seconds. I just love it and recommend it without qualifications. The company is a true American Dream success story and very easy to work with. If you want it right away or need another color (mine is "putty" which is a neutral grey tone instead of black) there are shipping and color options if you call direct. Also, they can send the unit assembled for an additional charge if that is a problem. I bought the Kangaroo Pro rather than the Kangaroo Junior and am glad I did because the extra desktop size is perfect.

) I've had excellent customer service from these people twice now
Product is kind of pricy but I got it for Christmas :)I've had excellent customer service from these people twice now. I disassemble the desk to move it and lose parts and they are always quick to send and easy to work with.Assembly is a bit difficult and thats probably the only complaint that I have about it.

Excellent product
Ordered Kangaroo Pro in black and have not sat down for 3 weeks already. This is truly outstanding product at a fraction of the cost of a full adjustable height desk. I also ordered keyboard extension and additional surface later on. Those two did not integrate well between them and the company went extra mile to modify and send me a replacement that works great at no charge. I would recommend this product to anyone.
