CUTTING EDGE LIPOSOMAL TECHNOLOGY means better absorption and no irritation to the digestive tract, even with higher doses. Our vitamin C is packaged in small lipid vesicles that are then absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract faster and more effectively than vitamin C alone. IMPROVED ENERGY AND FOCUS. Liposomal vitamin C allows for larger, more potent doses of vitamin C to enter the bloodstream, useful for combating free radical damage, fatigue, and poor concentration. IMMUNE SUPPORT. Vitamin C is known for improving your ability to fight infection and boost the immune response. This liposomal vitamin C offers a unique advantage by delivering powerful cell-building phospholipids in the form of the liposomal membrane. This helps protect the cells from inflammation and free radical damage, boosts the immune system, and provides essential building blocks for cellular repair. Perfect for those with active lifestyles. MADE IN THE UK. Our liposomal vitamin C is made up from premium ingredients in ISO licensed facilities and is subject to multiple quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process. Our top priority is the quality of our products. YOUR SATISFACTION GUARANTEED. We offer a 100% Money Back Guarantee on our all our products so if you are in any way unsatisfied with your product we will provide you with a full refund, no questions asked. LIPOSOMAL TECHNOLOGY BUT WITH POWDER - Liposomal tech can be applied to both a liquid and powder. In the case of a two-piece capsule, it is not the outer shell that has undergone Liposomal processing. It is the Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) powder itself which has undergone the liposomal process. The Vitamin C is wrapped in a phosphatidylcholine-oleic acid coating derived from sunflower lecithin. This allows for better bioavailability.
Product Description Vitamin C is an essential nutrient needed to build our bones, cartilage, muscles, ligaments, heal damaged skin, and manufacture the cells that make up our adaptive immune system. It's a potent antioxidant, helping to protect our organs and brain from oxidative and free radical damage.Despite its significance in the human body, we are one of the few animals on earth that can no longer produce our own vitamin C. Therefore, we must consume it through our diet or nutritional supplements. It's comes to no surprise that vitamin C is one of the most popular supplemental nutrients in the world. The problem with most dietary vitamin C is its low bioavailability. This means that even though we're taking vitamin C, only a small portion of it actually makes its way into our bloodstream. This can't be corrected by taking higher doses because non-liposomal vitamin C can cause gastrointestinal irritation and discomfort at higher doses.Liposomal vitamin C offers a solution to this problem by packaging the vitamin C into small lipid vesicles (containers). These vesicles are transported through our digestive tract and enter into our bloodstream intact to later release its stored vitamin C directly into the bloodstream. This technology significantly increases the bioavailability of vitamin C while simultaneously reducing the irritation and discomfort of the digestive tract that higher doses would normally cause.Liposomal vitamin C gives us confidence that the doses of vitamin C we're consuming is actually reaching our bloodstream to provide its beneficial effects. It also allows us to increase the dosage safely, and reduces the overall side effects of taking vitamin C orally. Do the research on Vitamin C, and the difference with Liposomal delivery.
I'm amazed how many people have no real idea why they are taking a supplement..please research before taking such important decisions..this is your body!! I have taken Vitamin C for 30 years..without doing a double-blind experiment on myself during that time I can't say if it "works" but, I'm not bad for my age, everything seems to be still functioning. I believe, and I have researched loads, that humans do need dietary Vitamin C, and liposomal is the best absorbed and retained. I am on my second bottle of this particular make..it's very good value for money..easy to swallow, no side effects. I only take one cap per day, but up it to three or four if I feel something coming on. I don't get many colds, and get over them very quickly.

Any effects not obvious enough to justify the price for me
I often take multi-vitamins with iron, partly to safeguard against anaemia. I was slightly unsure about trying these instead. Vitamin C does help with iron absorption, but they don’t actually contain iron themselves. Still, with winter cold season approaching, I figured they might be a helpful boost to my immune system. The instructions specify a dose of two per day, though I don’t really know why, given that this gives over 1200% of your Nutrient Reference Value. I decided one a day would do for me. I still took it instead of my usual multi-vitamins, rather than as well, though presumably I could have taken both without any adverse effect. These pills are fairly large and oblong-shaped, but I didn’t have any trouble swallowing them (though I am used to taking pills regularly). The main question is what effects they’ve had. This is hard to gauge. There have been times when I’ve felt a little tired, and wondered whether that’s down to lack of iron, but even if so this would really be due to not taking my usual supplements, rather than a direct result of taking these.I work at a university, so get exposed to the dreaded ‘freshers’ ’flu’ each October or so. I’m happy to say that I made it through that period, before finally succumbing to a cold in November, perhaps brought on by colder weather. I’m no nutritional scientist, but I’ve heard it said that vitamin C doesn’t really stop colds, but can shorten their duration. Well, I don’t have a scientific test of that, but my individual experience of these pills is a bit mixed. My cold began, as usual, with a sore throat last Sunday/Monday. I felt a bit better on Tuesday, as the sore throat passed, but worse again on Wednesday. I still struggled into work, but felt pretty lousy and skipped a non-essential meeting. By Thursday I was already feeling largely better, though still a bit congested. I was impressed that the worst of the cold had only lasted a day or two, since often it takes me a week or so to get over something like that. On the other hand, however, that slight congestion has hung around for several weeks later. Clearly, these supplements are not a magic bullet for preventing or overcoming colds (and not sold as such). It’s hard to know, from this isolated experience, whether these really did help my immune system or not. I do think I’ve been reasonably healthy this autumn-winter but, on the other hand, this may be coincidence and I’m not sure such a large dose of vitamin C is really necessary, especially given that these particular pills are much more expensive than other available and I didn’t notice any obvious effect.I think, once this bottle runs out, that I’ll be going back to my usual multi-vitamins, to make sure that I’m getting other nutrients too. Still, if you’re particularly after vitamin C, and not bothered about the price, then these pills will give you that.

research exsits to back up claims, give them a go if you need vitamin c!
Vitamin C is a common supplement to take but it comes it a problem, its not actually very bioavailable, in that the body stuggle to access it from the diet. The body can use it much better if its taken intravenously, which is obviously not all that convienient! That is where these capsules come in.I have read a bit of the research and it appears that liposomal vitamin c is more bioavailable than vitamin c alone, but not as bioavailable as intravenous vitamin c.As these are liposomal vitamin C i would assume they are going to be more useful to take than standard vitamin C. Its hard to judge that obviously but the research seems more robust (published in peer reviewed medical journals, i cant link to them on here but a google search should find them if you are interested) than a lot of stuff you read about vits and mins etc.The capsules are a medium sized (i certainly have larger capsules than these) but they arnt tiny. They have very little smell or taste (unlike hang dr capsules - which are foul, brilliant but foul!). The bottle includes 2 months supply for just less than £30, which isnt cheap but they are an advanced delivery system, If you need vitamin C, give these a try.

NOT liposome encapsulated.
NOT liposome encapsulated. It is a dry powder. The capsules can easily be opened by pulling the two halves apart.

3.5 stars
Difficult to an extent to review a vitamin product, because it's practically impossible to tell if it's really making a difference. So focusing on the delivery and presentation of the product - 3.5/5 stars. 120 pills sounds like a lot, though it will only last 2 months, as two pills have to be taken a day. Also, the bottle comes just over half-full, like a packet of crisps. The pills are pretty large - not recommended for people who have trouble swallowing paracetamol. But presumably, there is a good reason for the size of them and the fact that 2 have to be taken a day.Price-wise, these pills don't seem TOO expensive. The bottle itself is both sturdy and light - so, helpful for travelling. Will update this review if I notice a marked improvement in how healthy I feel, in particular my arthritis!

High dose Vitamin C in a more bioavailable form
I've been trying to up my vitamin C intake, but anything over 4g gives me an upset stomach. Liposomal vitamin C carries the C straight into your cells, avoiding the upset in your digestive tract. So how much more potent is liposomal vitamin C? Some internet articles claim up to 98% of bioavailability; others say a low dose of liposomal vitamin C is as effective as a high dose intravenous vitamin C.I read an online case where a New Zealand dairy farmer called Allan Smith with cancer was given intravenous vitamin C with really good results but the hospital reduced the dose so his family supplemented with liposomal vitamin C. He believes it saved his life. You can find his story on youtube.Try it out yourself. If you have a bad cold or the flu supplement with 2-4g of this and compare to 4g of normal vitamin C from your pharmacy.Your body is a chemistry set and your response is your own proof.
