This product is great for lining up your router in it's plate just bear in mind that you will have to fix your router to its plate with the screws that come with this product is you don't the rowden becomes police and can cause issues with kickback or breaking a a router cutter when fitting these clips to router base I did have to spend some time filing down the router base so the clips would fit in in easily and nicely just two things to bear in mind when you are purchasing this product that it is a breeze to remove your router from it inverted position and reposition it with ease

I was lucky enough to have received a Trend T11 for Christmas. The router has a machined base which allows this adaptor kit to clamp it underneath a router table. The kit comes with good instructions and a template for marking the table insert. This kit allows you to mount and demount the router in seconds. Very useful if you us the router in table and handheld.

Bizarrely, the hole position diagram which was provided along with the instructions for this kit wasn't accurate, because it was not printed to scale! There was a warning about this in small text, but basically one has to find it online and print at 100%. I was fairly annoyed to discover this, having spent money on a new insert plate, and time on drilling the various holes, as I will need repeat the process with another insert plate.

Nothing to dislike about this product. I was looking for this kit to fit my Trend T8 but was having trouble finding one. This product is listed by Amazon for a T11 and T14 which is confirmed by the packaging when it arrived. It wasn't until I looked at the Trend website when I noticed their description for the same product now includes a T8 reference. I took a chance and purchased it - wasn't disappointed, it works well. With a little bit of carpentry, I now have a router table built into my Bosch Table saw.

Follow instructions and it is very easy to fit. Allows the router to be mounted and dismounted to the table in less than a minute

Considering these are from Trend, I was expecting something much more robust. To find the retaining turn clips are in plastic ? yes plastic, is beyond my comprehension when you are dealing with something that needs to be held in place and not move. These will also wear in time from turning on and off. There are materials out there that can be used that would be far better suited, but def not plastic TREND! Then to read that YOU SHOULD NOT use these for continuous securing of the router is also beyond me and defeats the reason why you would use them... I then read another review that mentions the supposed nylock nuts become loose ?? seems to me that Trend need to go back and re-engineer these, especially at £36...

Great bit of kit. Easy to instill making super fast getting router in and out of table

The instructions were good and clear. But having fitted it, the nuts holding the levers tend to work loose after a number of actions. Going to try superglueing them in place to stop movement. Also, it states it shouldnt be used for long term holding of the router - I normally have the router in the table, and remove occasionally so not ideal for this situation as it recommends fitting the normal screws which defeats the purpose of the quick release. This would be less of a problem if you normally use it the other way round - namely normally have it hand held, and occasionally fitted to the table.

Funkionieren auch bei T8 ;-)

Wollte eine erleichterte entnahme der Oberfräse erreichen, jedoch ist es zu frikelich den rein und rauszubringen. Es klemmt, die Einstellmöglichkeiten sind gering und macht kein Spass. Ohne die sind es halt drei Schrauben die zu lösen sind, auch kein Weltuntergang.
