Good technical reference
The other review mentions that the diagrams are blurry, but I didn’t find that. There are a couple of photos at the beginning which don’t work particularly well printed in black and white, but they don’t take away from the book. The information itself is for the most part clear and detailed. Having prior knowledge of the subject matter has helped me get though it however. If there is one thing I will take away from it though, it’s to use the default homogeneous SRGB on any deployment. They harp on about this almost constantly!

Well written book and it has a comprehensive treatment of Segment Routing over MPLS data plane. It starts with the basic concepts like SR IGP control plane, SR data plane and ramps up to advanced concepts like topology independent LFA, SR for the data center to SR BGP control plane and SR LDP internetworking via SR mapping server.

Lots of easily digestible details
Well written! I read what I needed. Now I need to go back and read the rest. Significant step towards true SDN.
