I owe you an apology. I recently sent you a message that none of the connectors would fit in my tv. I was wrong. I sent pictures of the hookups on the back of my tv to my son and told him about the connectors that came with the speaker and I do have an optical cable receptor and I plugged it in. I didn't know enough about it to get it hooked up properly. It's hooked up now and it's right next to me working perfectly. I'm sorry I got it so wrong. Needless to say, I will not be returning it. Speaker works great with my older smart TV. No interference from anything, even though I have the base by the TV (directions say not to do that). I have this next to a recliner I sit in to watch TV in a family room that isn’t used by anyone but me. It’s easy to adjust the volume manually since the speaker is next to my chair. If you were using it in a room full of people, I’d say that it wouldn’t be practical. It is a great speaker for those who have a harder time hearing certain tones. There’s a button for more base or more treble tones that you can adjust to your hearing weakness. Seller provided follow up useful tips after my purchase. That’s great customer service!

We are in our 60’s and this looked like it would help solve the issue of not always being able to hear the TV dialog. The sound out of this little speaker is superior to the TV audio. And being able to move the speaker closer to you means you can hear the TV much better. Especially if there are other conversations in the room, or someone is opening a crinkly paper snack. But it also is a step back to my childhood before TVs had remotes to change the volume. With this product you have to walk over to the speaker and change the volume manually. And when you fire up the TV, you have to go over to the speaker and turn it on (or turn it off and back on) to get the audio to start. Want to mute the audio? The mute button on the remote does nothing when this thing is hooked up. Get up out of your chair and turn the volume dial down. While it solved one issue it created new ones. After about a week we disconnected it.

My husband has trouble hearing the tv in our living room. He needs to turn the volume to a fairly high level to be able to understand everything that is being said. With this wireless speaker, he can now hear everything clearly, and the tv can stay at a normal listening volume for everyone else in the room.Once the speaker was charged, setting it up took less than 5 minutes. We were both instantly impressed with the sound quality of this speaker! Sounds like wind and rain that are not very clear when coming from the tv's internal speaker, suddenly sound amazing and have great depth. Voices are crystal clear and easily understood. It's like we have surround sound now!The speaker battery lasts for hours and hours before needing to be recharged. The speaker can be charged on the base station that is connected to the tv, or it can be charged separately with its own power cord that was also included. We chose to hide the base station behind our tv, and charge the speaker with its own power cord. This has worked perfectly for us, and keeps all the cords around our tv and fireplace hidden neatly away.This speaker has a very long range. I have moved it into other rooms in our house, and the has speaker never lost connection to the tv.We are extremely impressed with this wireless speaker. My husband can finally hear the tv clearly, and I can watch tv with him at a normal, more peaceful volume.

My mother uses this speaker and she loves it. Prior to getting her hearing aids she had a difficult time hearing the television. She started having the volume on the TV blaring and unknowingly obnoxiously loud. Once she started using this wireless speaker, there was no excessively loud volume from the TV.Even after receiving her hearing aids she still constantly uses this speaker. She loves it. When I am installing a new product or putting one together, I try to do it without the instructions first. This was one of those cases and with my previous knowledge and experience, I can say that it was quite simple to install this. Give the base power, plug in the right cables, then boom, its done.The audio quality is actually better than my TV so even though its portable, I still find myself using it without moving it about.

My first thought was this is ideal for a bedroom; especially with the included headset ready whenever needed.Everything regarding the build quality and tech are solid. Small in stature yet it supports any needed inputs for compatibility with any TV, from optical cable to L/R RCA, easy to setup and straightforward to use. Most new wireless speakers function with Bluetooth, but this one has more stable and reliable dedicated 2.4GHz Wi-Fi — no Bluetooth, thus no pairing requiring any user actions. The included AUX cable can be used to connect a phone or other device; RCA inputs also work with various audio equipment (stereos, record players, etc.).Portable compact convenience. It has a replaceable battery-pack and putting the speaker on the baseplate automatically charges the battery. Or else it is recommended to remove and preserve the battery when only powered by AC for an extended time (if portability is unnecessary). Averaging six-hours of battery usage per charge, more would have been welcome, but plenty for catching a show before bed.I like the carry handle and that the volume dial is front and center; the whole unit is smartly designed for ease and practicality. Wireless signal strength is strong. While the build and quality of these speakers is undeniable, it's hard to fully justify it's heft and bulk. Speakers with comparable quality are now so small. That said, it amplifies and clears up the audio especially for those hard of hearing, or have a difficult time deciphering what basically equates to a lot of mumbling on tv these days. It's a reasonably easy set up and install, and if you're the type who can bear reading through instructions and manuals, it actually describes it quite well. The headset provided however, looks very dated and cheap, but again, functionality wise, it's good.
