Not the easiest thing to use, but it works. Highly recommend downloading the user manual. This kit is worth the extra money over some of the cheaper options because it includes several different types of fobs to get you started, plus it can handle much more complex operations that require a PC. The most basic read/write is easy enough, but any key fob worth copying is probably going to be encrypted. This is going to require a Windows PC to connect to the device. Following the instructions, it's pretty straightforward. Saved me hundreds of dollars in unnecessary fees.

Terrible software, useless instructions and froze.They barely attempted to translate the manual from Chinese to English. It is very difficult to read and the user interface is non intuitive. After several attempts, I think I read my FOB, but then the device froze and I was unable to proceed. It cannot be reset, unplugging/plugging did nothing, etc. It will be returned.

Works great for it's intent. It reads and writes various fobs, including others I had before. The need for very close proximity defeats my purpose in buying, but it's still nice to have.I recalled that the Radar Golf system I had years ago had a sensor unit that would detect a signal from their RFID equipped balls. Once my ball went under a bridge, and the tracker sensed the ball ABOVE the bridge. Long story short, the tracker was responding to the car fob on my buddy's keychain in his golf bag.I'll try to come back here and show you what I learn when I cut open one of those balls to see what's inside, and compare Radar Golf RFID with XKXEI device's.

Works well with multiple frequencies.Can confirm this works with Disney Kyber Crystals to reprogram to different color lightsabers.

For encrypted cards you first have to search for software using the model number and their page will have a user guide.It worked!

It is far more capable than I thought possible originally there are mixed reviews, but this one works phenomenally. I’m gonna be buying another one. It’s a spare.

Worthless. Would not do a typical HID card. Plus I spent 4 days trying to get help from their customer service and they just don’t care to take the time. The software they supply doesn’t work either. Not even worth the time. Glad Amazon returns things easy.
