Top model and top quality. Bettr that the one in my doctor's surgery!
This is a high, professional quality product, and very easy to use. It's the same make but a superior model to the one my doctor uses to take my blood pressure! If you need to use a blood pressure monitor, it makes sense to buy a good one. To me, the most important feature which lifts this above the base models is the AF (atrial fibrillation) mode. This takes three readings at short intervals, and averages the result. With AF this is a MUST. Even without it, if you check your B regularly you will know how readings can fluctuate, even if taken within a short time. I think the "average of three" AF setting provides a more representative reading.By the way, unless you're a health professional there's no point in buying the external power adaptor. The batteries last for MONTHS even when taking two measurements a day - and it works perectly well on rechargeables.

So far so good
Simple to set up and use. Sends readings to device quickly and maintains a good connection. Option to link to Google fit via app to add other data such as activity (steps, distance walked etc)Quite bulky but easily stored in the case provided. Comes with 4 Duracell batteries which is a bonus.

New design cuff is a backward step
My previous machine was an Omron M5-I that I've had for 22 years and still works fine, but I thought I'd upgrade it with something that could automatically record the readings on an App.The X7 has a lot more features than my previous one. positive improvements include, separate settings for two people, storage of 100 readings per person, comparison mode, averaging mode, irregular heartbeat detection, cuff problem, movement during reading, Atrial Fibrillation detection and of course connection to an App.However on what planet this new cuff design is mean't to be an improvement baffles me. Its terrible. Too tightly coiled, stiff and fiddly. I struggle to get it over my watch, it doesn't want to rotate into the correct position on my arm. Its just a nightmare compared to the old style which is so much easier. I don't have any issues with it working, but its really a step backwards in usability and I wish they'd give the option of the old style cuff. I just can't see how it improves anything and I absolutely hate it.In terms of functionality, the X7 seems consistent and accurate. I have no issues syncing it to my iPhone. It usually just transfers the reading by itself once its done. If for any reason it doesn't then the sync button on the App gets it moving.Regarding some comments I've seen in other reviews, you do NOT have to pay for the App. The free version works fine and stores all your readings and displays it a list or graph. There is a 'premium version' that you can pay for after the first 6 months (which is free), but it doesn't seem to add anything worth having as far as I can see.I've had NO issues paring it with my phone or accessing the readings or syncing it.The App does sync to both Apple Health and 'Patients Know Best', so its not just a stand alone App. Admittedly, this selection is a bit limited, but as an Apple user it works fine for me and syncs each blood pressure reading over to the Apple Health App.So this is a pricey machine, but as someone who's had high blood pressure for the past 25 years and whose last machine has lasted most of that period, I think its a small price to invest in your health, but ultimately the cheaper models will still give you the core information. I got mine from Amazon Warehouse and its as new and was considerably cheaper.

Accurate readings everytime
The blood pressure monitor is accurate, you can set it up for two people to use regularly to track your blood pressure and heart rate through the app. It can also be put into guest mode for anyone else as a one off. It's so easy to set up and use. The arm cuff does get a little tight but it's not too uncomfortable. I would highly recommend for anyone who is needing to track their blood pressure and heart rate.

Decent bit of kit from Omron
This device is an easy to use, reasonably priced blood pressure monitor. It's easy to see what it says, and it has an app which helps too RE: previous resultsIt's not particularly noisy and it performs as intended.

Slow but accurate, reliable pressure monitor
It's one of the best for home use. It doesn't take fast measurements but anyway. overall accuracy is impressive. Bluetooth is a gimmick unless it needs to be for monitoring other person's use. connects automatically on each use, transferring data to mobile. I hope it never comes to me that Afib function will be required. Anyways, the test works at all times.

Great product
As usual with Omron products, it has lots of features, feels premium and easy to use. I have my account and my spouse has hers and we can take our measurements and see our previous recordings. I have not experienced any problems with connectivity. It's expensive though. I don't know if we are paying for the brand name as well 😆.
