Brewcraft HOZQ8-1232 Amber Ez Cap Bottles, 16 oz. (Pack of 12)

These bottles are the best price I found after shopping around a bit.They arrived a day earlier than expected! Also installing the tops was not a huge task either, just look at a YouTube video if you're confused. They fit VERY tight, a bit hard to open & close at first because they're new, the red gasket/washer hasn't formed to the bottle opening yet.(If you want worn in shoes wear hand-me-downs, if you want new shoes you're going to have to break them in) I took 5 minutes to just open & close them all a few times to get the hang of it. **Tip** get the tops on, close them, leave them alone. Give the gasket time to form/mold to the opening. It will make it a whole lot easier to open & close later. I'm extremely please with these & if I need more bottles for my homebrew I will DEFINITELY be ordering them here!

These bottles are fantastic and an awesome value! They are thick and sturdy. The tops are so tight they are pretty hard to get closed, but that just insures no air is getting in or out of there! Best I have purchased! My only complaint, if I had to have one, is that the base is slightly to large to fit in my cup holder of the car. Of coarse, I guess I don't need to be getting pulled by the cops with questions of what is in that bottle, anyway. Don't worry folks...no drinking and driving here. I'm bottling Kombucha, not beer. :)

The only reason I give this 2 stars is: The bottle shown is not what I received. The bottle shown can use either regular bottle capping or the easy cap flip tops (That's what I wanted). The bottles I received are only capable of the easy cap flip tops.Else the bottles received are good quality.

A couple of the bottles were a bit hard to close - but all in all they work great

As some of the reviews said earlier, they ARE a little tight in the beginning, but we have had these now for a couple of months, and they are very easy to seal and unseal.

Hard to use.

Exceeded expectations bottles are sturdy and well worth the price. My home brew tasted great.

Will save money in the long run by reuse. Great price,
