Great Product
This tool is the best cable cutter I have ever used. It cuts a clean line and does not fray the wire. We use it in art classes when we are installing wire on the back of the canvases to hang student paintings for exhibition. Well worth the cost.

Powerful and durable.
I removed 180 linear feet of galvanized wire dog encing with from split rails and posts with this. Still sharp. Handle could be larger maybe.

Effortlessly cut safety and aircraft cables.
The media could not be loaded. I recently replaced my garage door springs and cables and, I also strung aircraft cables in the back yard for lights. I tried to cut the cables with my wire cutters, and even a bolt cutter but, they only mushed the cables and, I ruined my wire cutters edge. I ended up having to use my Dremel, with a cut off disk. Well, I decided to invest in this cable cutter, and I am so glad I did. I only wish I had done it sooner. What a great addition to my toolbox for cutting cables in the future. While not the most ergonomic of my tools, it non the less makes cutting the cables I have almost effortlessly. The only "complaint" I have is that the handles are a little wide when opened and, for larger cables I would have to use both hands to start the cut. However, for the cables I will be using this work perfectly.

Hetai Heavy Duty Wire Cutters
Worked perfectly for the job I needed done. Wire fencing had become partially buried and I needed to release it so I could fix the fence.

Super human grip strength needed
These cutters did NOT work for our project. We tried to use the cutters for 5/32 inch (7/7) stainless steel cable as we were putting together a cable railing system for our deck. It took my husband using both hands, hunched over, using his entire weight to cut through the cable. (BTW - He is a strong athletic guy).He made just this one cut. Did the cable cut? Yes but with extreme effort and not quick. However, the end was bent / smashed in. So we couldn't fit the end into the cable railing fitting hardware.Cable railing hardware doesn't have a lot of extra space and are made for a certain thickness of cable. Once that cable isn't round or doesn't keep it's round shape, it won't fit into the railing hardware. After the one cut, we ended up cutting the cable with a powered rotary tool. Fast, easy, clean cut leaving the cable in its original round shape. Buy, borrow or rent this rotary tool - its worth it.

Just ok
Cuts good, but springs do not stay open...a pain in rear to manually keep opening for the next cut
