FAST SSD and excellent performance
Fantastic drive and the speed is amazing! I purchased the drive to put in a mini SSD enclosure. Its design is compact (2230) and fits perfect for the mini enclosure. Installation took seconds to install in the Satechi M.2 NVMe enclosure.Supports various formats such as NTFS, exFAT and FAT32; I used exFAT format since it supports both Apple and Windows operating systems. I am using this 1 TB SSD as a thumb drive with massive storage and fast speeds. Overall, extremely happy with this purchase and would buy again.

Tiny, Cost Effective - Great Performance
Purchased this on sale and it's become the best value in storage for it's size. Paired with a 10gbs enclosure and this SSD benchmarks the same as more expensive SSDs. Fast and reliable - the 2230 size is hands down the best travel companion for file storage and back-up. I downloaded 4 seasons of my faviote shows in secods. Those fiels were nstant access plugged into my phone or tablet

Pegs the needle on TB4
Doing a little conversion math… TB4’s 40Gbit max is 5GB/sThis SSD advertises 7000Gbps/5000Gbps, so ~8.9GB/s and 6.1GB/s and would saturate the TB4’s 5GB/s theoretical maximum bus speed. That’s exactly what this SSD does. In a Satechi TB4 housing on an M4 MacBook Pro, using Blackmagic Disk speed test, it pegs the needles.TB5’s theoretical maximum is 80Gbit/s with 120Gbit/s in boost. That’s double and triple the current bandwidth at 10GB/s and 15GB/s, giving this SSD the bandwidth it needs to reach its potential, but it’ll be a little while (Dec 2024) before TB5 SSD’s, enclosures, and cables, are more widespread on the market. If you can, it would behoove you to buy the SSDs now, to avoid any potential tariffs or geopolitical instability, and buy the enclosures later, once they become widely available. You may not know it if you don’t work with it daily but these are game-changing speeds.

Steam Deck OLED upgrade
Ordered this to upgrade my Steam Deck OLED from a 512GB vs buying the 1TB Steam Deck. For the same amount of money total I was able to put a 2TB SSD. It works great lots of storage for the games and plugins I put on it so far.

Eh
Worked for a bit but it went to 100% and wouldn’t load anything. I had to replace it with my old 500GB ssd
